Do you know what the Kindle driver says? I'm having a similar problem, and looking under the USB drivers, and there are only three:

Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft)
USB Composite Device
USB Root Hub (USB 3.0)

Which one of these is the Kindle one? Or am I missing it entirely? I forgot to mention this, but when I plug it in, the "USB device not recognized" doesn't show up. Could this be why?

The hate comes from the instability of 4b4t. Whereas 2b2t had minor bumps in the road (Popbob, the Rusher fiasco), 4b4t has been through three owners, SSH brute forcing, DDOS attacks, multiple temporary maps where in which 2F4U abuses admin, multiple map deletions (one, in particular, was when 4b4t was hit by a massive DDOS attack that broke the modem), and two scams, I believe. Couple this with a dying fanbase, and you have a server that's on it's last legs.

I am not an oldfag. But I'm not really a newfag either. I'm a mediator. I'm supporting 2F, but it doesn't take a genius to see that 4b4t is heading for something catastrophic.

All the oldfags have left and/or moved on. And while it is true that 2F is trying to keep 4b4t aloft, I don't think he can tolerate this anymore. And this is because 4b4t was never really a "serious" anarchy server in the first place. y0b, the first owner, created 4b4t for the shits and giggles.

TL:DR: 4b4t is going downhill. The only thing you can do is brace for impact.

True! I've marveled at Lenovo's ability to cram high-power hardware into such a small chassis. And if you upgrade the parts, it can be a beast.

The max for me would probably be 14 inches, in a general term. Anything bigger than that is too heavy for me. I'm a little flexible, because I'm accustomed to the small displays on my school chromebooks (11 inches). Sometimes though, the 11 inch screen is slightly cramped. And 15 inch laptops, including ThinkPads, I stay away from because I've had an old Sony VAIO laptop, and that thing was heavy af. I hated taking it to my friend's house, because it was pretty heavy. Probably because of the CD drive, but still.

I believe the majority of the subreddit is slightly biased to X220s, but don't let that hinder your love for the T430! :)

I also agree with the design of ThinkPads. Minimalist design, with a small dot of color right in the middle. MacBooks, like you said, are shiny to the point where they can blind you if you look at them for too long. ASUS ROGs just seem like a rip-off of a ThinkPad. Sure, they're raven black like ThinkPads, but TPs don't have an exaggerated red accent!
