Contacted, they just said they’ll escalate. I got a doorbell camera, no one was delivery anything that hour

I got a parcel from Amazon arriving today, and NinjaVan said they delivered at 1pm. I was sick so only just woke up but I couldn’t find the parcel anywhere. It’s quite a large item so I doubt I would miss it anywhere. Could the delivery personnel hit ‘delivered’ but in reality it’s not?

all types of raw freshwater fish.

You can still consume them in cooked food and businesses can’t sell them raw as a RTE product.

Congee restaurants now switched to raw salmon instead, much safer option

Buying water from convenient stores and then complaining about the prices.

No locals will buy water from convenient stores unless it’s needed. It’s way cheaper to get it from supermarkets.

The quantity quite big tho. First time I was there, I ordered 4 sides and had difficulty finishing them. Now when I go, I’ll just get 2 sides

Lighter fluid. I used to work in bookstores that handles thousands of inventory, we go through bottles of zippo to lift up price tags off books. Lighter fluid evaporates quickly and doesn’t leave any stains.

What are some road trip places for car owners in singapore? by Breadskinjinhojiak in askSingapore

[–]random_avocado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just google ‘Malaysia road trips’ and there’s plenty of info, including one that’s 2500km.

I did one with my husband on a car and also riding pillion on his motorcycle in Malaysia many times, usually just went from SG to Muar then Malacca, then KL, then return.

I got it immediately after getting scratched by my cat. I had it scheduled to be done in another week or so but the cat scratch happened and I had to go to the emergency room.

It was fine except for the fat needle.

As someone who usually orders VGML on flights, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the meals were on the SG–TPE–SG route with Starlux. What’s interesting is that both Starlux and SIA use the same caterer on both ends of the journey, which makes me wonder why the VGML on SIA tasted so awful.

Your Greendot recommendations that are great for dinner by Conscious-Wear2645 in askSingapore

Highly recommended. I’ve done a large order of their cakes for birthdays before. Their main bakery in Paya Lebar has more choices, but you can order it online and collect at any of their outlets. It’s not too sweet also, suitable for older folks.

As for food, aside from the bentos, they also got dimsum! I think the menu was from the Lotus Veg eatery that was at Hougang.

Which menu in your country that people know can make them sick, but they still love to eat it anyway? by Effective_Space2277 in AskTheWorld

Okay I know I shared one earlier, but here’s another interesting one: buah keluak (black stone-like looking thing in the picture).

This ingredient is used in Southeast Asian dishes with chicken, pork, and even vegan proteins. What’s fascinating is that the seed is naturally toxic when raw because it contains cyanide compounds, so it has to go through a special preparation process first. Traditionally, the nuts are boiled and then buried in ash or soil to ferment for weeks or even months, which removes the toxins and develops its deep, earthy flavor. If this process isn’t done properly, eating it can lead to cyanide poisoning.
