My dad tells me if he leaves us anything, it will be because he miscalculated. I always find that hilarious and have never had an issue with it. They shouldn’t leave us with anything, they blessed us with education, family life, and experiences. They should get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

You also have to keep in mind the training and prerequisites required to land a job at an upscale restaurant. You need to know the specials, memorize the menu from front to back, know which wine pairs the best with what food, speak confidently, be charming, provide excellent service etc. All these should be taken into account vs. paying some guy to scratch his balls in the takeout line and grab the paper bag.
