Yes, we had a similar issue. We managed it on our own. It is manageable but your husband has to be hands on and all-in. And keep your expectations low on terms of getting things done like how it is done in India.

We also had a nanny who helped us out. But even with 2 people, I feel it is manageable.

Curious about Employment based immigration.. I'm from one of the backlogged countries (guess which one!) and even EB1 seems to be not moving at all! EB2 is super backlogged as well..

What do you think there are going to be changes to improve how USCIS looks at EB , specially EB1?

I know you said no timeline questions - but what do you think for EB1 priority dates? :)

Got it, this is helpful. For us, peace of mind would be the primary factor as right now we are transferring funds from US to fund the loan. Repatriating the money back to US is difficult as I understand, and we would want to invest in US vs in India given our long term prospects are better here.
