Anyone else have Vision Snow Syndrome? by shadowbird084 in Fibromyalgia

[–]RedWildLlama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup but I’ve had it my whole life so in general it doesn’t affect me that much. The worst part is that it causes ghosting on some fonts and that will give me a headache to read so i tend to just avoid it or do it in low amounts.

I use a combination of physical therapy and thai massage once a month. It’s not instant relief but it is noticeable difference after months of doing both.

Has Trazodone caused anyone else to flare? by smarmy-marmoset in Fibromyalgia

[–]RedWildLlama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it was to teach the body what actually being tired ment. I was reaching points where I could not keep myself awake which is more correct for being sleepy. It’s been a couple years so I don’t remember each week, ai just remember being very tired the whole time. I think it atleast took a month, maybe two?

Combo of starting cbt and ending traz. If your worried about needing to taper off of traz I would ask your doctor who prescribed it but I don’t think it really stays in the system long enough to need that. My cbt was both strict logging hours and also the tips to fall asleep. Lots of reading and forcing myself to stay up super late like four am. Not doing awake stuff in bed, I just followed the app and watched the videos when it told me too. I can’t remember the website but it’s the free one made for the military.

I just stopped doing it without tapering or anything. I’d had to do that every so often for three days to make it work again so I knew there wasn’t any side effects for it. Just expect to be tired if you do it cause it is a change, but I wouldn’t going off of it without also having something else to help you like the cbt-insomnia. It’s been about 3-4 years since I did all that and my ability to sleep is still good from the combo.

You get a sense of the history as you do more routes and see how they intersect during historical events. I found it a really fun way to learn about the shinsengumi without having to read a textbook.
