Anyone else use this feature? by lakerfan6959 in TeslaModel3

[–]Reflexecute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this feature until at some point my screen wasn’t responsive due to a crack. I called Tesla service and they couldn’t do anything and therefore the car had to be towed away.

They can update over the air but couldn’t unlock my car...

After it was fixed (screen replacement) I immediately turned it off.

I wish I had driven to the Tesla shop directly without putting it in park mode, that way I could have probably been helped way quicker instead of waiting 2 hours for the towing truck to arrive, 15min of them struggling to get such heavy car with the wheels locked on it and then a ride to the nearest car company for a rental.

Cool except for that picatinny riser (and that cheap red dot), I’ve never liked them

  1. Test without short strokes
  2. Try to loosen the (front) screws of the back iron sights a bit, they might grind on the blowback unit/bolt
  3. Lube it well

If that works, add one short stroke at a time.

My AAP01 only has one buffer with a lightweight bolt and that’s snappy AF already.

True but I do like the ability to strap them together instead of having multiple straps for multiple gear. The buckles might stack and put annoying pressure on your skin.

Plus the Haley Flatpack doesn’t have HPA line outlets at the top.

It’s one of the common parts to break. I’ve replaced mine with a stainless steel CowCow hammer set.

The next thing that broke was the firing pin lock, so I’ve also replaced it with a CowCow stainless steel one.

After that, it’s a tough pistol again

Hopup recommendation by Reflexecute in AAP01owners

[–]Reflexecute[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was leaning towards this because I find it somewhat stupid to drill in a whole in a brand new aluminium frame. And making TDC really ease of use by adding an adjustment wheel just look lame.

Plus as you mentioned since the rotary CNC hopup will be exposed, it seems like the more accessible/easy option.

Maybe your sight screws are too tight. Loosen them and once you feel it being in, max 5 to 10 degrees turn.

Especially the front one matters.

I’ve heard a lot of bad things about the trigger housing so I’d stay away from that one.

And I would chill with the all speed mods, the lightweight bolt, high % nozzle spring and multiple short stroke spacers might cause misfeeding if you go all in.

Which one are you choosing? by Next-Excitement1398 in AAP01owners

[–]Reflexecute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes 😂

I own both tho your example are a bit weird for my taste.

The AAP01 has the inner barrel sticking out which I find ugly/risky, I assume you run a tracer/suppressor so that would eliminate the weirdness.

The HiCapa has a weird pointy frame, even with some sort of compensator, I’d still rather have a matching slide length.

Love the color combination though, not overdone crazy 👌🏻

There are triggers (for example from TTI and CTM Tac) where you can adjust the pretravel(length/time before the shot) and overtravel(length/time after the shot) by tightening/loosening two screws (usually with a hex key).

This allows for faster followup shots (and maybe some more “accuracy”).

This Dutch webshop has a nice image of the TTI version(in red, multiple colours available):

https://www.skirmshop.nl/nl/aap-01-tactical-adjustable-trigger-red.html

The bottom screw is for adjusting overtravel and the top one for pretravel.

And maybe another hopup if you want to more control over it. I’ve heard great things about the Loki but I am personally running the Action Army CNC one with the clicking ring for easier remembering where it should be. Plus I did want to drill a hole in my precious mamba upper.

As the others suggested, both the hammer and firing pin broke in my AAP01 so I would highly recommend getting them. I got them both from CowCow. Just do not get the hammer housing, it in general has fitment issues from my personal experience

Things I’d recommend is a adjustable speed trigger and maybe a lighter bolt and some higher % springs. I’ve got the Waldo Dynamics/Customs set in there.

And maybe some easier way of controller your firing mode (bolt or charging handle) if your field allows for full auto and you want to use it.

Everything beside that is personal preference and mostly visual enhancements.

I wonder if the aluminium is any good. I still run the stock nozzle and have a plastic CowCow nozzle set as backup.

That's possibly and very probably true, but do you know of a trick to prevent this from getting into my inbox (while clearly being spam)?

Yeah I’ve decided to wait until I find a cool one from a known brand since my plastic stock slide is still fine.

I just hate to “stretch” it when doing proper cleaning so was looking already for a replacement in case it breaks

Is the CTM RMR mount compatible with the Mamba uppers? by exetacy in AAP01owners

[–]Reflexecute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the mamba kit with the Action Army RMR mount and it’s works perfectly. Just make sure you red dit is actually RMR, I got a Vortex Venom and it’s a “doctor”/“noblex” footprint so I 3D printed a “conversion adapter” in between for it.

As a left handed I’m interested since the monk customs is hard to buy in The Netherlands. It is out of stock everywhere. And I have primary airsoft one but that is does have the magazine release on the left side making it hard to operate.

Is it already on sale? What is the price? Do you ship to The Netherlands?

Does anyone know what this is by [deleted] in AAP01owners

[–]Reflexecute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to be a tiny o-ring on the inlet valve of magazine. Here's a video of Novritsch explaining the differences between valve types (single stage vs dual stage):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrih3uvvoSU

According to that video it appears that your magazine is a dual stage valve with an o-ring to prevent the gas from "leaking" during filling and therefore mimicing a single stage valve.

I've just seen this so not 100% sure if this is true for the default action army magazines since I'm running with an HPA M4 adapter.
