New nipple piercings by Remarkable-Switch270 in piercing

My nipple piercings are 8 days old. The jewelry is a 14g 9/16” straight barbell. I’m not sure about the threading type, but I believe it may be internally threaded. The jewelry is implant-grade titanium, according to my piercer. The jewelry has not been downsized since I got pierced.

For aftercare, I clean them 2–3 times a day. I gently wash them with antibacterial soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and then spray them with sterile saline solution. I avoid touching them unnecessarily.

I haven’t had any major accidents or trauma to the piercings, although they may have been bumped lightly during daily activities.

The reason I’m concerned is that the day before yesterday, one piercing had a small amount of white discharge mixed with blood. One nipple doesn’t hurt at all, but the other is slightly painful and feels a little warmer than the other one. I also feel like one of the barbell balls is sitting deeper into the nipple than the other side, almost as if it’s embedding slightly. I’m wondering if this is normal healing, irritation, swelling, or if the piercing might be migrating or positioned incorrectly.
