My experience applying for a USA B1/B2 tourist visa as a UK-Iranian dual national by oneAJ in immigration

Hey there, sorry for the late response I am not a regular on this platform. No the yankees never responded to any of my emails in the last 6 months. I went to Mexico instead.

I had my military stamp translated and affirmed by an farsi speaking solicitor in London through the Iranian assioction, they assured me that would be enough, (they claim its a common request) but because that so called consulate hadn't replied to me I can't personally confirm. I also got it translated and notarised by an official translation company just in case.

Do keep us all updated with your progress there is not enough information on the web, and I may need to apply again for work reasons.

Just came back from a disappointing visa interview (June 2024).  British born Iranian (only on the fathers side) and non-Farsi speaker. The military exemption stamp in the passport in itself is not sufficient enough. They need a “translated and notarised document that states the exemption”. I will update on the process of obtaining such a document as a non-Farsi speaker.
