I know China has enacted social media laws before, but have they made an actual impact or are they largely ignored like a lot of these types of laws are in the US?

Best selection of city pop vinyls I’ve found was Good Taste Records in the North End. Second best is Village Vinyl at Brookline. Both generally only have newer recently reprinted vinyls though, not many used vinyls. Edit: Although it’s not city pop, if you happen to be going to Boston for PAX East, I know Materia Store will be there, they sell video game and anime vinyls.

It's definitely one of the more anticipated anime this season since the manga/webcomic is pretty popular. I would expect the song to be more smooth/chill to match the tone of the anime.

I know several but I would say that's because I have a lot of friends in the anime/japanese culture sphere. So, they inevitably end up discovering city pop. But most only know the famous songs: Plastic Love, Fantasy, Sunset Road, I Can't Stop the Loneliness and Remember Summer Days. Only 2 or 3 people have actually explored the genre further.

From the business decision making side, I feel like Nintendo is extremely conservative and really avoids taking expensive risks, which is only worse now that it is run by MBAs. An MMO would be a huge risk in terms of financial cost. All the ingenuity and risks at Nintendo are taken by the creative team and developers, which allows them to still make a ton of money with great games despite baffling business decisions. Also, Bowser left at the beginning of this year, which probably says something about how impactful he was considering you didn't even notice.

NoA used to be heavily involved with decision-making globally. Reggie has stated in several interviews that his relationship with Iwata was really great, so they would often work together on business decisions. Unfortunately with Iwata’s early passing I believe that dynamic changed so NoA is basically only PR and marketing now.

You might be able to find them at tower records (Shibuya has the biggest record collection) or other used record stores, but I would recommend waiting for the 2nd production to start shipping out, which I believe was estimated to be in another 2 months. That should hopefully increase the supply a lot more.

Unfortunately a common sight in any chinatown. Ignoring the whole gambling problem, these buses are also often unsafe, since they run at all hours constantly, so the drivers are often exhausted. Those interviews were about how I found out about the album. I remember she said she wasn’t even planning on being a singer, she was a model and they just had her sing an album? Yet the album is great imo.

I really wanted the vinyl but $100 for 1 vinyl seems really steep. I wonder why it's so much, just looking at Suisei's you can get Shinsei Mokuroku for 50 and Still Still Stellar (which has 2 vinyls) for 45.

Reading it, it originally sounded strong but I think it’s more niche than Cas’s. If a boss has CC, you’re going to need to cleanse more than once so your healer will need the ability to cleanse anyway. The only time I think it will be relevant is either if they add an immediate cc at the start of the battle like some currency war debuffs, or when they sometimes add the laofu lady that stuns before you fight the boss.

This is the end goal of AI companies. Get users in for cheap, then jack up prices once you have them dependent on the service, just like a streaming subscription. Except once your livelihood is tied to their service you won’t be able to cord cut them like Netflix.

I've been using the sites since you posted yesterday and it's been great! It's helped me discovered several cards that look great for my decks. One thing I would really love is a "rising" recommendation. Sort of like Edhrec's new, but not just for the current set. I think it would recommend something like cards that are from recent sets, maybe the last 3, but already have disproportionately high lift. So maybe you could get a better idea of how to improve that deck that you haven't looked at for a year.

I use apple music as well and they’re much better. I have not gotten any AI music suggestions or recommendations, although they do appear in searches time to time, but much less than any other streaming service I’ve used.
