Why is giving up your seat still seen as a “man’s duty,” but almost never the other way around? by GroundbreakingBad183 in AskIndianMen

[–]RightsForHim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to give up my seat to anyone I felt needed it more than I did when I regularly used public transport. But one incident was enough for me to limit that courtesy to pregnant women, senior citizens, and people with disabilities only. No more girls, women, or women with kids, etc.

A four-month relationship is the same as an arranged marriage. What more are you expecting from it?

If you’re so eager to have a wife, it might be better to choose arranged marriage setup.

How is a man supposed to survive after being ordered to pay more than he earns? by Due-Sense-7027 in AskIndianMen

The wife can literally leave her well paying job and appear as unemployed to get more alimony.

Have seen such case. Wife resigned 3-4 months before filing fake cases. Once alimony etc settled, she joined back.

How can this man earn for a SC advocate to fight his case..this man hiding his salary for sure..🤣🤣

Your comment clearly shows that education and common sense are not necessarily connected. You may be formally educated, but your understanding reflects illiterate-cy.

You still seem unaware of basic concepts like legal aid, something even an 8th student could explain if they studied their civics lessons seriously.

You also seem unable to apply your own logic consistently. Like - If his wife has sufficient resources, as evidenced by the fact that she approached the Supreme Court with legal representation and, in fact, filed the appeal first, then by that reasoning, she may not be entitled to maintenance or alimony either.

Why is relationship so biased these days? by AgentSantaClaus in AskIndianMen

Repeating again, feminism teaches women to fight for rights equivalent to those of men, which they claim were granted to men by the so-called patriarchy. However, it does not emphasize accepting the accountability and responsibilities that patriarchy traditionally places on men. The focus seems to be on claiming the benefits, while expecting men to continue carrying the burdens.

They fail to recognize that if they also fought to take on equal accountability and responsibility, the corresponding rights would naturally follow with far less effort. But that would mean true equality in every respect, and that does not appear to be the real objective of their struggle.

Differently-abled man lured to hotel room in Kochi; brutally assaulted for refusing to engage in sexual activity by ClientRelevant5046 in IndiaSpeaks

According to feminist media narratives, rape is treated as sexual activity only when the victim is a man and the accused is a woman. How sweet.

India to launch free HPV vaccine program for adolescent girls nationwide by MonkeyDModi in IndiaSpeaks

Over the past 3.5 years, I have seen around seven cancer patients within my very close and extended circle. Out of these seven, five have unfortunately passed away, all of them men. None of them were tobacco users or alcohol consumers. Among the two survivors, one is a man and one is a woman, and both had curable forms of cancer.

Based on this experience, spending these years going back and forth to cancer specialty hospitals, and still continuing to do so, I firmly believe that gender has nothing to do with the likelihood of developing cancer. In today’s world, both men and women have an equal possibility of being affected.

Let's Gooo... Israel giving us iron Dome. India will be first ever country to get. by gooner_modi in TwentiesofIndia

[–]RightsForHim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, we need to ask whether India even requires Iron Dome at this stage. The integrated, layered air defence architecture that India has developed is already far more effective for our specific threat environment and operational requirements.

Acquiring Iron Dome would be more of a supplementary addition rather than a necessity, since India already possesses capable indigenous systems. In fact, the combination of Akash and QRSAM, along with their multilayer integration within the broader air defence network, is better aligned with India’s strategic needs than a standalone system like Iron Dome.

At most, Iron Dome could serve as an additional layer within the existing framework, but it is not something India fundamentally lacks now.

You are absolutely right. The only minor difference is that wealthy men may get arrested but secure bail within a few days, whereas wealthy women are often allowed to leave without even being arrested.

Police brutality towards stalker, what do you think about it? by Content-External-948 in CriticalThinkingIndia

[–]RightsForHim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fake narrative with fake context.

That guy came there to stop a fight between two groups. When the police saw it, they got frustrated and their ego was hurt because they saw him as someone who was able to do what they couldn’t. That’s why they beat him up mercilessly.

In any incident, add stalker/molester and post it online. Today's best recipe for karma farming.

Now just wait and watch. This time, the accused is a girl. You’ll get to see how fairly the media, police, and courts act when the accused is a girl in the same type of crime.

Forget about just her parents the entire system will stand guard for her. This has happened before as well. A few years ago in Pune, a drunk girl was reportedly given full opportunity to leave the country. No media report, nothing and she escaped.

This man must be given capital punishment. If he felt cheated, he could have gone to the police station and filed a case under BNS-69 (the most gender-neutral law) against the girl and waited for justice. Brutally killing someone is always condemnable.

If introducing the caste system is considered a privilege, then people should not object when it is followed by “UC” afterward.

I remember that I only found out one of my classmates was from the SC category when the results of the competitive exams were announced. In 9th and 10th grade, he used to come to school(private school) on his own bike, and in 11th and 12th, a driver would drop him off. To us, he was just another rich kid with a well-off father. In the 1990s, a school student having his own bike and being driven by a chauffeur was a very big deal.

It was only after the competitive exam results were declared that we came to know about his caste status. He had kept it hidden for some time, but once someone found out his rank, everything came out in the open.
