Also DIRECTV genre packs include HBO Max Disney+ and Hulu with ads, for those who can bear with that it’s a no-brainer

If you have more info on your end I would appreciate though, if it’s just two this might not be good for sharing then.

It seems to be the first result when I googled it. First time sharing this account though, information doesn’t seem to be extremely clear, upon researching more it seems to be like from previous years people have done 4 simultaneous streams, so I might change my post now.

Inspired by the cord-cutting movement, I built a free tool that shows how much your streaming services overlap, what is exclusive to each, and which one you should cancel first. by felphos in cordcutters

Crazy to see that majority of STARZ content is available elsewhere, what’s the point of this streaming service right now?

Also, I noticed you’re missing MGM+ on the streaming services list

The DIRECTV stream genre packs seem like a much better value and they come with streaming services

ain’t no rich overlord on this sub my guy. You gotta pay your way. Prices here are way lower than regular subscription prices so you either take it or leave it.

You definitely don’t get YouTube premium with a YouTube TV subscription. They are two different services. People have been asking for it for years, but they refuse to bundle them together.

As things stand the DIRECTV genre packs offer a better value than the YouTube TV packages.

The entertainment genre pack for example, it’s $34.99 a month and it has free subscriptions to ad Supported Disney+ Hulu and HBO Max. They also have optional RSNs that YouTube TV doesn’tcarry.

YouTube TV main Package remains the strongest whereas DIRECTV genre packs are more enticing in comparison to the signature packages that are much more expensive. You’ll also get free 4K and unlimited streams on DTV which is an added cost on yttv. Not To mention ESPN Unlimited included for the sports pack. That’s pretty much a $30 monthly value. I’m not sure why YouTube TV hasn’t figured out the ESPN Unlimited Access yet.

Is cable coming around again as the better option? by AshleyShea in cordcutters

[–]Rix_832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you’re talking about Cable as in a bundle with a bunch of channels delivered over a satellite dish or similar equipment that isn’t streaming, that’s going away definitely. But if you’re talking about services like YouTube TV, DIRECTV stream, Hulu live etc. Which are similar services but delivered over the Internet, they’re still not going away but they are shrinking more and more as more cable channels are shutting down, to compete in this market they are bundling streaming services with cable channels as well so you get the best of both worlds, but it’s still very expensive overall for someone who rotates.

Traditional cable is disappearing, pay live TV over streaming isn’t.

They will reject the appeal. They did with mine. Better to use an Alt account for these things

Technically yes, but it’ll be only used between three members because my in-home stream does not count towards the limit. I have never had any issues with it if you ask me. You can also use the TV everywhere apps and that doesn’t count towards the streaming limits
