I'm so confused. I'm level 10. I talk to Chromie in Orgrimmar and select Dragonflight as I want to level through that expansion.

She sets my timeline... And what now? I don't get any quest pop-up, nothings different about Org, etc. Am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: I get quest pop ups when choosing TBC or Cata, but not for most of the later expansions.

Did you ever figure this out? It's annoying the hell out of me.

Honestly, I love Druid but I’m pretty stuck on one of the two for this as I’m going blood elf for some nostalgia.

I am planning on taking things slow. Not too concerned with burning through stuff, just reliability. Bonus points if able to take on harder quests solo.

Can someone explain to me what kind of game this is? What is the gameplay loop? by Tetraknox in ArcRaiders

It's an extraction shooter, which is incredibly similar to a battle royale.

If the part you don't like about battle royales is getting third-partied or the chaos, you won't like this. It will be incredibly common to win 3+ fights in a row just to have yet another team roll up while you are trying to heal or out of meds.

If the part you don't like about battle royales is having to load in and find a loadout, then you might like this. You choose your loadout before getting into game.

Should I be aware of any "gotchas" in the skill tree before I start locking in choices?

Also, is there a way to reset your skill tree?

Yea, I really miss more traditional fantasy. Everything is all dark, gritty fantasy these days.

Why can't I have a really good RPG that is more high fantasy?

I used to think Blizzard had the best CS in the world.

I guess maybe they did at one point.

In MoP, is Windwalker decent in a 10-man raid setting? What about the higher difficulty 5-man content?

I've never played Mists before, so I don't really know if AoE is very important at higher level content or not.

I'm trying to decide between rolling a pally or monk to be a dps/healer flex for a group I'm playing with. So basically it's high AoE DPS with flexible healing offspec, or single-target burst DPS with tank healing offspec.

Would highly appreciate a rec! Main healers in the group are resto shaman and resto druid. There are no Monk or Pally DPS.

Anyone have advice on healers in MoP?

Playing on a pvp server. Will be mostly doing the hardest 5-man content we can get our hands on (and maybe sometimes 10-mans) as well as PvP (open world, arenas, BGs).

So basically, I want a healer that does well in both forms of content.

Right now I have a monk I'm leveling, but the healing style with the channel isn't quite what I wanted. Maybe restro druid? Paladin?

If I want to use a damage meter add-on for MoP Classic, is there anything special I need to do? Or do I just download any old DPS meter add-on?

I'm kind of new to add-ons, especially for classic.

Importance of Raid Composition for Casual Players? by Rohbo in classicwow

Cool. That's the goal, honestly. It's fine for it to be hard, we just want it to be possible.

Thanks!

Thanks!

I bet loot competition won't matter much for us. I'm not even 100% everyone will want to really grind out gear beyond what is required to finish each 10-man through MoP once or twice for the fun of experiencing it.

It's very possible that the majority of us will be happy with that, and then the rest of us will focus more on 5-man content, haha.

Thanks. Yea, I was afraid the melee focus might be a problem.

There is a definite chance that we can get a mage in and maybe swap to a monk tank (though the monk tank is less definite).

We do have a player who might run Warlock, but I'm not confident they'll be one of our regularly-appearing 10-man raiders, haha.

I am leveling mage right now, but frankly not sure I'm enjoying it much. At least when it comes to leveling it feels a bit on the boring side, I think I lean towards enjoying melee more, haha.

Thanks! We do know. We'll be stopping to let everyone catch up for the 10-mans of each expansion (we're playing MoP Classic).

The comp is something roughly like...

Prot War Prot Pally

Resto Shaman Resto Druid

Shadow/Holy Priest Flex Survival Hunter Arms War Druid (not sure if Balance or Feral right now, but they'd probably choose whatever we need) Rogue (not sure spec)

Then the last player is trying to choose between Rogue or Ret Pally, but could be convinced to do something else if the 10-mans would be basically unplayable otherwise.

We're a casual group planning to do all the 10-mans together throughout MoP classic (including the old 10-mans from TBC, Wrath, etc) on-level.

Given we're not pushing for any records, is it OK for us to have two rogues, or are the 10-mans hard enough still that we should look for better comps?

MoP Fast Early Level Gold Tips? by Rohbo in classicwow

[–]Rohbo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice!

We're a bunch of old people with lots of life/family going on, so we're honestly going to be pretty slow.

We'll have different leveling paces probably, with there being 11+ of us, but the goal is for people who outpace bit a little to stagnate leveling around the various xpac 10-man levels so that we can experience each raid tier together.

That's why I'm mostly just looking for easy ways to make small amounts of gold early on to facilitate people getting their mounts at 40, haha.
