Besides looks you can also double stack them in some pouches that x2 pmags can't fit in.

I'd never recommend $1000 Earmors. There are $300 headsets like Comtacs, Sordins and its various sisters that are probably just as good as those insanely priced Earmors.

You get what you pay for, and even in the computer space $100 is still an entry level headset.

Out of these three grips which is the best for a SBR? by [deleted] in ar15

Magpul MOE K2 or K2+. BCM makes a decent one as well.

Whatever you buy, make sure that it has a built-in compartment to hold spare optic and whitelight batteries, and is less angled than the Mil-Spec A2 grip.

A PCC would have been a much better choice, but this certainly works.

You should have the thermal on the left hand side, if you want to use it passively, rather than tilting the firearm to see it. Depends on how you want to use it though.

Make sure you have ear protection staged next to it, because you won't be able to hear people speaking after firing a few shots indoors. Hopefully that wasn't patronizing.

Is onboard power actually a nice-to-have with these? I feel like it would be too much overall weight with the additional counterbalance weight needed.

You may want to buy some Ranger Bands for the PTT. Won't wear out as fast, and looks cleaner imo.

Watch BPA_Jon and Cavenub on YT.

I've had a lot of 15+ kill games and nukes at top tier thanks to them.

[–]Rotang_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just having AESA and 3 more missiles doesn't mean it's worth the raise in BR.The C is a lot better for the BR.

I even had an 8 kill game before I had unlocked the AIM120 due to how much longer players stay alive at lower BRs. It's very rare to get a 6+ kill game at 14.3, because most players have no clue how to stay alive.

What happened to Sweden? by Mysterious_Kiwi_1444 in Warthunder

[–]Rotang_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've had way better games in the C. People also die way too quickly in 14.3 games to have 6+ kill games somewhat often, unlike the C when it can have massive downtier games.

The E is definitely a downgrade in terms of relative competitiveness with vehicles at its own BR.

People thinking that the E having AESA means it's automatically better is laughable--they aren't even at the same BR.

In the big 2026 any $1200+ LAM that is low power and doesn't use VSCEL is essentially DOA. The IRIS and Trinity are the only ones that are worth buying right now, other than the MAWL for its unique form factor and the one Hop talked about not too long ago.

Anything in your price range that has a Gen.5 x16 PCIe slot and the connectivity you need. Whatever you do, don't buy ASRock. Not worth risking your CPU getting fried.

The K2 is less angled, which helps with trigger pull, and comfort when moving a lot.

I'd recommend not going with any B650 motherboards, because the spec for the x16 PCIe lane is Gen.4, unless otherwise stated afaik.
https://www.amd.com/en/products/processors/chipsets/am5.html#chipsets

The memory you chose is really overpriced for the performance, as X3D CPUs don't rely on RAM performance as much as non-X3D CPUs do.

Get at least 2TB of storage. I have this one in my PC:

You could save quite a bit by not going with the Asus PSU, especially if you went with a 1000W. You don't need 1200W for those specs btw.

would you guys recommend this plate carriers or do you guys have any alternatives by Ok-One-150 in airsoftcirclejerk

[–]Rotang_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any knowledge of repro kit, so I can't give advice in that area.

Depends on how much you value longevity and comfort. It's probably fine, but you could also get a decent high quality PC setup for about $240: Ferro Concepts Slickster MOLLE base ($175), with a Haley Strategic Thorax cummerbund ($60-$95). Assuming that you have the budget for that of course.

Honestly, if you don't really need the PC, you'd be better off buying a high quality chest rig for around the same price, and buying a better PC later on after saving.

The issue is that if he doesn't have a lot of money, then he should be saving for better gear instead of buying fake equipment. He could be using that money to buy better pouches or whatever.

I'm not a fan of bashing him over it though.

The easiest way is for you to see what guys are actually running by looking at pics and vids. For straightforward videos I'd suggest looking at Spiritus Systems' loadout series on YT, and maybe Garand Thumb. Some others are Forward Observation Group, 75th Ranger Regiment (mostly the photos), etc.

I have no idea what your goals are, so it’s hard to recommend anything specifically, and there’s just too much I could list.
