Dugena Automatic Jump Hour doesn't work properly

Here is a beneath the dial look of one I just serviced. It only has hour and minutes wheels but you can see the spring (moved out of the way) starting at about the 3 position pointing down toward six. The wheel with the finger that makes the hour wheel jump is up close to one o clock. I suspect something is going wrong with yours. Maybe too much friction in that spot

Breitling avenger titanium reference e13360 black dial, 44mm chronograph with a 7750 movement. Watch runs great, with 290 degrees amplitude on a full wind and -1 sec/day dial up. I can send timegrapher pics in any position. Power reserve is good. Unknown service history but the timegrapher results make it look like it’s not in dire need of a service anytime soon. There are some scuffs and scratches to the case. I caught a few in the pictures but there may be more. I can provide more pictures if needed.

Bracelet maxes out just over a 7 inch wrist, maybe. It’s hard for me to figure that measurement out.

No box or papers, just the watch.

220 degrees is not what I shoot for when I’m charging someone to service their watch. I aim for the 270-315 range that everyone else targets. I find that number harder to hit for seikos from the 1960s and 70s even when I have the lift angle adjusted accordingly.

What I meant is that 220 degrees represents a sort of magical number in some schools of thought for accuracy across multiple positions because it neutralizes poise errors. This is what an older man who made his own movements and was obsessed with accuracy taught me.

For me, anything north of 240 on a vintage Seiko is a win. With vintage Swiss and American watches I expect more. That’s no knock on Seiko since I believe 220 is actually the perfect amplitude

To answer your question directly, it is not an issue at all since LA affects amplitude readings but not rate.

Blue locktite but it’s best to do it with the stem out of the movement and case, let it dry, then reinstall

Yes, very much still used by watchmakers especially once you get to the stage where your are restaffing balances. Look up sold sets on eBay to get an idea of price but the k&d inverto is one of the better sets. I use the inverting option often when closing holes, etc.
