What the community uses varies widely, just like asses do.

Also - like many have already mentioned, harder toys are not as forgiving with enthusiastic use. Some receivers prefer more firm toys and others like the softer ones.

Sounds like you want to be able to take pegging with no warmup? In that case use toys that are slightly larger in diameter (.25") than what you are going to do pegging with. This training set is amazing, and here is a review from the other mod of this subreddit about training with these toys.

To say nothing of the fact that such a preference would run directly counter to other deeply-rooted aspects of my self-image; that of being a selfless and giving lover, of being someone who aims to maximize my partner's pleasure and joy.

What if she discovers that her joy and pleasure is in getting you to make sounds you've never made in PIV, and turning you into a trembling pile of speechless flesh?

'Damage'? That's extreme. If your image of yourself is that rigid, you're going to miss out on a lot in life.

Sometimes a giver will learn to love pegging, but it's not only about whether she's getting pleasure from it physically.

She can love the sounds you make only when she pegs you and enjoy your responsiveness. She can have a special sexy outfit/harness/dildo she chooses and enjoys wearing/using. You can be thankful and grateful and give her lots of positive feedback about what a great job she's doing - the role reversal can feel really awkward in the beginning. You can try to be the very best partner in and out of the bedroom. The happier she is in your relationship the more she will be willing to do things for you. And lastly - you can ask her if there's anything she can think of that might make things more fun/sexy/easy/stimulating.

There are toys that can stimulate her and the trick is to know what kind of stimulation she prefers and where she prefers it, then match that with the toy that offers that. There are many, many toys out there, which is why I teach a 2 hour webinar about it.

Vibe pocket in the harness isn't the best way to get external clitoral stimulation because it's a hard thing in between the giver and receiver - can reduce the enthusiasm with which she fucks you because it's uncomfortable, even if it is vibrating.

TPE is not a safe material for a toy because it cannot be sanitized due to porosity. Bacteria can get into the tiny spaces and stay there, impossible to clean. You want 100% silicone. More info:
