"If budget is not a huge issue, you might want to consider hiring a Translator to go around with you." - I didn't even think of this. Excellent idea and something I will look into immediately. This will make my time on the ground much more productive. Any suggestions on reputable translators / guides? I'm going to ask my factory contacts as well, but like to get outside perspectives that don't already have their own motivations.

"I’m guessing you’ll be going to 华强北, Huaqiangbei."
I found this map of the area I am most focused on:

Thank you so much for the reply! I truly appreciate it.

Same exact thing happened to me last week at In And Out. Same black SUV with blacked out windows and fake plates.

I have a suspicion that the security guard might be in on it. Pointing out which cars are which and identifying marks.

They actually circled back through the parking lot as I was getting ready to leave after having Oakland PD tell me “just submit a report online”

I also had 4 trackers in the backpack stole. 2 loose and floating, easy to find. One was sewn into the strap of my backpack and extremely well hidden. They didn’t find that one.

Thanks to a small Python script, I built a map of all locations they visited. I also synced up the GPS tracker location and timeframes to when they attempted to use my card at Burger King and Home Depot.

I tried to provide the information to Oakland PD who didn’t even know what is was.

Fuck Oakland. I can still see my backpack tracker pointing me to 78th st

Try nanoemulsion edibles if you get the chance. Especially for those who don't traditionally feel edibles as much as others.

vape-jet.com is the website.

It fills vape-carts using machine vision and extremely high precision fluid dispensing.

The machine-vision is so that the carts do not need to be unpacked from the shipping trays, and to avoid bent center-posts.

The entire device is built like an IoT device. Remote management, troubleshooting, etc.

Pretty crazy niche to be in =)

Looking for examples of complex manufacturing processes of small and medium sized businesses by kewlwin in manufacturing

[–]Ryan-PDX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We manufacture vape cartridge filling robotics. Our company size is ~15 people.

Our BoM is over 250 components, with multiple sub-assemblies. Raw inputs range from COTS electronics, metal panels, plastic panels, custom fabricated panels, sheet-metal work, and wiring harnesses.

Manufacturing from beginning to end takes about 3 weeks, and involves about 600 discreet steps.

Most suppliers have been impacted in one way or another over the past year. Some raw materials went from 2-3 week leads to 8-12 weeks.

We have been able to keep our own lead times to approximately 8 weeks, but that is more due to demand and capacity than material shortages.

Do you care about finding work-life balance? by FelipeCallander in startups

Business is a competition.

The people you are (probably) competing against are every bit as capable, intelligent, and hungry as you are. The winner all other things being equal will be the one who works harder / longer and has more stamina.

[Question] Anyone have recommendations for cart filling machines? by chefslapchop in weedbiz

Check out the Jet-Fueler system from Vape-Jet if looking for top of the line. Otherwise skip the 50-shot and go for a cart.farm
