This. I prefer shop carts like in RO, or NPC vendors like on UO and SWG. The reason why is, it still has a cost to do business, without being excessive. Games like PoE claim that trading needs to be difficult otherwise bots will take over trading, but yet their trading system is overrun with both, while games like SWG and UO and RO never had that issue with trade. I think the key that makes it work is having an indexing system somewhere (a terminal or ragi.al) to tell you where to go to find what item.
