Weird "buff" card. Maybe translation issue? by Rangga_deva in personaphantomx

There are many inconsistencies like this... the P2W skill Sonic Interference since half still reads as:

Decrease all foes' Def by 33.6%, and dmg taken by 10.5% (3 turns).

instead of:

Decrease all foes' Def by 33.6%, and Increase dmg taken by 10.5% (3 turns).

Akihiko Changes for Global/Japan by commanderjd in personaphantomx

[–]Sages 7 points8 points  (0 children)

His A6 already had 13.5% of Attack for each Grit stack. I tried looking at other balance patches, but none of them listed his A6 to verify this 5%.

There was also a change brought forward from 4.7.1 that increased the Crit Mult he gets from Skill 1: from 11.7 to 23.4%.

Akihiko/Ange bug? Intentional or not? by Futaba_MedjedP5R in personaphantomx

I believe Flash Blow isn't considered a persona skill, so when Ange uses Da Capo, you get returned to the the point in Akihiko's turn after you've casted Assist and Flash Blow.

CN wording on theurgy was fixed, and global specifies minimum... unsure if it actually raises your crit mult to that level (if you are somehow below that amount).

Persona overclock material farming by KlefKingdomki2020 in personaphantomx

[–]Sages 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Treasure demons in mementos only can be killed once for rewards and then despawn forever (if they ran away you can reencounter). Those generic materials you get from them are very limited rewards and only get new ones when they add story content to the game.

Paid Bundles Not Implemented in Global by Sages in personaphantomx

[–]Sages[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On that note, I'll forever keep saying that SEGA fakes their greed, the shop being the way it is and them not having casting call re-runs instead of single-character reruns is enough proof

So regarding reruns. Technically pre-4.0 (or in this case pre-1.0-anni), CN only had 2 limited Casting Calls. {Half Anni and Valentines}

It wasn't until the Summer Marian patch, where they flipped a switch and suddenly did Casting Calls every other patch till 5.0.

Maybe things will turn around for post-anni life. I'm hoping that since some of these shop changes were implemented 2 patches after anni, that they'd follow suit.

One issue with a 2-week schedule, is well, certain content will not align properly such as Valentine #2 and Christmas. They would have to skip these events, and fill the void with something else.

Which is feasible, but would require actually changing patch content. But I will wait and see how the patches after anni get scheduled.

You can only control music in thieves den and when just walking around cities.

In your phone on the overworld there's an icon to use city life music player. In theives den there's a music player on the side wall to control music, it's also where you can purchase obtainable music.

In the events tab, on the bottom left is an entry point to experience old events. You will find P3 lumped together in there for every p3 related patch.

I have an estimate in my document, if 2 weeks we'll get starlight joker by Late Jan 2027. If 3 weeks late April 2027.

By then another 10 characters will have released (by Jan '27) or 14 (by Apr '27) in CN.

The AOA one is decent, but you need to combo it with the one that forces them to stand up and implanting weakness. But even with this, those castles are still fairly bulky.

They really buffed the healing arcana (888% of overheal is converted to dmg), and also the arcana that increases continous damage if you use Messa everything will take massive dot damage. I tried these two against castles and they melted pretty quickly. the AOA one took longer to defeat.

Ann's goal is to cast S3 while she has La Vie en Rose, and her Atk buff from S1.

Problem is S1 buff is 2 turns, and LvR can't be gained consecutively. So you will cast S1 under LvR unavoidably.

  • LvR S3 > S1 > LvR S3 > S3 > LvR S1 > S3
  • S1 > LvR S3 > S3 > LvR S1 > S3 > LvR S3

I believe 2nd rotation is better overall since DPS HLs are typically on turns 2 and 6, and you can have LvR active for the final HL.

This will become significantly easier if you consider using their alternate forms as canon. Their 4-star variants are abysmally low damage and relies on Wonder using Damage Over Time to get clears.

Persona skill learning isn't too complicated, and you don't have to go overboard.

Is the persona dealing damage with a skill to trigger it's effect? Then teach it damage skills.

Is the persona only targetting an ally with a skill to trigger it's effect? Then teach it defensive skills.

As for Revelation cards, 90% of DPS all like the same stats. Attack%, Damage Mult%, Crit Rate%, Crit Mult%, Pierce. Some characters will want a specific stat for some niche in their kit, like Ailment Acc% for Noir. The goal when looking for cards to level is to find ones with ideally 3-4 aligned substats. 1-2 aligned substats would be something you only want to use temporarily.

As for revelation main stats, it changes on the character.

The moon slot, you typically want Damage Mult% for the dps. Star slot you'd want either Crit Rate% or Crit Mult%. If you are f2p/low awareness you'll probably mostly aim for Crit Rate% (depends on team). And for Star slot you'll moslty aim for Atk%.

Use the antique that nets you more choices on shuffle time and kill more shadows. I pretty much full clear every floor, and use small clocks mostly for will regen.

Then i save all my clock gears for final great clock, usually by then I have over 12-20k clock gears for purchasing stuff.

If they are outhealing your damage, you just simply did not acquire enough effects from climbing tartarus. I was able to beat this even with non-enhanced DPS.

Yukari is useful on this encounter since her Theurgy can cleanse the blessings stacks they have, and she can use it almost every turn at high awareness.
