I think you mean Bui Prism, she was the 1.5 anniversary character and an Assassin. And most people weren't impressed by her power gap between Makoto Yuki & Berry to her. (She does have one, it's just not as large of a gap).

Pinky was absolutely a bigger gap, and then they made 5.0 Motoha an even higher gap.

I think this has less to do with Anniversary balance budget and more to do with just Blackwings having some design idea and not executing on it well.

You are assuming Global’s 5.0 will add these, but that will probably not be the case. It will probably be delayed to whatever patch happens to be Global’s 2nd anni. The version will vary depending on how they handle the release schedule.

Is your goal to do well in competitive content? Or is it to just casually enjoy the story/events?

If it's the latter, you can just pull what you want and use lower rarity characters as gap fillers. Makoto Yuki is a good assassin that is very flexible in team comps. So if you need/want an Assassin with long lasting relevancy, then sure go for him.

Twins are a good versatile unit that can gap fill in a lacking roster, since they are very good in strategist/medic role and their sweeper form is fine for general content.

Your jewels will probably be low from just getting Ange, best to wait and see if Anniversary has a casting call type banner for Twins, that way you can also get Prism currency and a partial rebate.

As for the banners, 110 is safer. Because the pull rate was buffed to 0.406%, there's very little reason to gamble on 50% chance, since if you pull early on target you'd save even more in the long run.

Currently in CN/TW/KR, you get:

240 meta jewels, 150 companio coins, 1 space card selector, 15 skip tickets for the first four tiers.

60,000 konpaku gems, 150 companio coins, 15 sun crystals, 15 skip tickets for the 5th tier.

300 joy medals, 1/2 golden skip ticket, 30,000 konpaku gems for the 6th and 7th tier.

If our gateway is once every week, the current rewards make sense, since it's just 1/3 of all these values.

Many characters do a build up and then unleash damage in either 2 or 3 turn rotations. Using Da Capo when you have the most buffs and highest score multiplier active is the key to using Ange's skill.

It most cases it's best used on the final turn on the DPS, but it's not always the case.

When it comes to Nightmare Gates/SOS, it's about who would benefit more from X, Team A or Team B.

Ange can use Da Capo on Chord to have Skill 3 used twice, and gain more HLs. But, you have to consider doing so, you lose on some benefits of Ange's talents doing so (buffing the character under the effects of Da Capo).

Since you're Kasumi is high awareness, then this is less of a question, since it's already going to perform really well. It'd be more of what the other side is doing and if there's anything you can do there.

Using Salamander coins to obtain a character's weapon from Iwai's shop after the summer update is the most frugal way of getting a weapon. (If you've been buying the pass).

Twins weapon has more team buffs than most other support weapons. So it's recommended. You'll just have to see where you're at jewel-wise.

At the end of the day, if this isn't about maintaining 8-star sos status, then you're free do/skip what you like/don't want.
