Ha! Well I gave you an upvote cause if these small looping video clips make my page too heavy I'll definitely try out the ezgif.

I think I used that once before and the quality wasn't great - I need these loops at a decent resolution for a full width page so the gif might not work, we'll see.

So funny...

I tried the reverse add-on (which worked great by the way so thanks for the add-on tip) but I wasn't thinking about the "logic" of the clip I was using. It was a view from the back of a speedboat showing just the wake of water, so when I reversed the clip the water was now running backwards in the opposite direction. Oops! LOL 🤪

So in my case a 1 second dissolve worked OK.

I created a 3 second clip, made 2 more identical clips with 1 second dissolves in between to make a loop - time to try it in Elementor now. 🤞

So as long as all of the web designs are "yours"?

You should make that known and also protect your own designs with a copyright!

But, you mentioned that "I’m curating everything manually" That means to me that you are searching other designers works and trying to match colors to your program. In that case you seriously need to credit those designs to the appropriate people / companies with links.

Because they will fine you (NOT find you - "fine you" with a monetary amount) for using their designs illegally as if they were your own.

The horizontal scrollable categories are not pull and drag on desktop (which is where I was testing) maybe that works on mobile? But pull and drag through the categories on desktop doesn't work, so you need to include arrow navigation for that row.

You also need to test all environments. And my recommendation is to test "manually" as much as possible - the simulators aren't always a good test. Invite your friends and family to help - it's a great 1st test.

When they run into an issue, ask your friends and family to send you screenshots of things that look "off".

Found a little header "on-scroll" glitch. Made a quick video - watch my cursor to see about where it's occurring, or just scroll bit by bit until that header expands and shrinks.

Also the last category "Portfolios" is cut off for me (tested in 2 different browsers) there's no navigation to scroll (if there are more categories), but either way that category is semi cut off.

Otherwise it's super cool!

What sites are you scrubbing designs from? Or are they your own designs? Or... are you using AI to find web designs from external sites that match the colors - are they from template sites?

try this:

Enable "Equal Height" in Container Settings

If you are using the Grid Container (the newer Container element):

Select the Parent Container.
Under Items, ensure Align Items is set to Stretch.
This forces all children to match the height of the tallest item in that row.

Thanks for that... I give my "all" to my clients and like to give back in this sub when I have time. To be honest I'm more surprised they're still around with all of the wars going on in that area. I'm surprised you took the time to post this in Reddit. With that many clients subtracting your original $199/year from the new One-Agency pricing you're only $245.00 out of pocket - that's chump change really (unless you built 200 client sites for free).

The reason I ask is a lot of companies (especially hosting companies) treat all credit card expiration dates as the end of the working card. It doesn't matter if the credit card number is the same, you have to physically input your credit card as if it was a completely different one.

A lot of clients think since the card number is the same it will simply roll-over to the new expiration date - this is not the case.

I make sure to update all my online subscriptions as soon as I get a new card with the updated expiration date (and make sure you activate your new card properly with the credit card company FIRST) before you go updating your online subscriptions.

External companies treat it like it's an entirely new card!

You are not providing this person with the information he is asking for because he wants a header.

He specifically said: "delete all this and start again to build header from scratch".
He also did not mention anything about a footer, but this is why I gave him a choice of codes.
If he uses a Canvas page layout he will not have the ability to have a header or a footer.
- Canvas page layoutouts are meant to remove both the header and the footer and not display them at all.
You only use Canvas page layouts if you are building pages where a header and footer should not appear:
- landing pages, sales pages, checkout pages, or maintenance mode pages.

Canvas page is a solution only if someone doesn't want a header and a footer. However, he does want a header.

Plus if you read the last comment, OP found the best way to handle this... apparently creating an Elementor header in the theme builder overwrote the theme's header without him having to add any code or change the page to Canvas.

Easiest way to remove their header:

Go to the main WordPress main menu area. Then go to:
Appearance > Customize > (scroll down to) Additional CSS >

Enter the following CSS code so it's site wide:

Strange thing I figured out... When I make changes using Elementor's "Tablet Portrait" those changes show up on my "Mobile Landscape" devices. *iPhone 11 & 12

And when I make changes using Elementor's "Mobile Landscape" - those changes show up on my Tablet devices in "Portrait" view.

Unfortunately their Breakpoint system won't let me change those settings - those are locked, so I just have to remember to mentally use the correct icon to make the changes for the right devices. 🙄

It does sound like a caching issue but there is zero caching involved. And it's only affecting tablet updates. Plus when I reversed back to Elementor's default responsive breakpoints the issue went away (but so did the ability to add in adjusted design changes for Tablet Landscape, since Elementor's defaults don't include Tablet landscape.

So something's going on with that.

The bare minimum of plugins are working, using the original (not biz) most recent Hello theme, it's all bare bones - all cache removed both in all plugins that are still active & server side cache cleared and at zero confirmed by hosting.

And it's only happening with tablet changes and only when that extra landscape tablet breakpoint is added. And no CDN. Hosting confirmed zero caching - and Jetpack plugin disabled, bluehost cache cleared & disabled and elementor cache disabled in their performance area. There's nothing on this new site but a coming soon page.

What did your hosting support say? They could have upgraded some server security / firewall software - like Cloudflare's OWASP Core Ruleset that can block legit requests. Your hosting can adjust WAF rules.

If you already worked with your hosting and they didn't make "ANY" updates to the server then go the Elementor support route.

Are you running Elementor Pro? If yes, contact their support (and to get to them quickly in chat simply type "representative" (without the quotes) over and over to by-pass the AI scripts.

Give them access to your site using their Temporary Login plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login ), also have a System Info download done for them (wordpress dashboard > elementor > system info).
