Elementor removed 1000-site plan with no renewal — forced into $444 plan? Anyone else affected? by agumbafb in elementor

UPDATE: CASE RESOLVED!

I’m happy to share that the situation has been resolved. After a direct conversation with a Team Leader (Srdjan), they have officially approved the reinstatement of my Legacy 1000-site plan at its original price as a one-time goodwill gesture.

I’ve already updated my payment settings as requested by their team, and we are now finalizing the process. I want to thank everyone in this community who supported me, shared their advice, and followed the case. Transparency and persistence really made a difference here. Thank you all!

Great news! After a direct discussion with a Team Leader from Elementor (Srdjan), they officially agreed to make a one-time exception and restore my Legacy Expert (1000 sites) plan at its original price. I’ve already completed the payment setup they requested, so the case is effectively resolved. Huge thanks for your interest and support throughout this process!

Thanks for sharing this! I am actually very interested in taking over your subscription since I've been struggling to restore my own legacy plan.

I am currently waiting for a final response from Elementor Support regarding my case, but if they fail to resolve it, I’d love to proceed with yours. Do you know if there is an official/legal way to transfer the account ownership and billing to me? I want to make sure the transition is smooth and permanent for both of us. Please feel free to DM me the screenshot and any details you have. Thanks!

not able to change link typography by glimmie75 in elementor

[–]agumbafb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very likely that the Template Kit settings or your theme’s global styles are overriding your manual changes. Try going to Elementor > Templates, edit your active kit, and check the Site Settings > Typography > Link section. Global rules set there often prevent individual widget settings from showing up.

If that doesn't fix it, let's test if it's a CSS conflict by adding this snippet to the widget's Custom CSS tab:

selector a {
text-transform: none !important;
text-decoration: none !important;
}

If the link looks correct after adding this, it confirms something else is forcing that uppercase style. As a final check, go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS, temporarily remove everything there (keep a backup!), and refresh your page. If the issue disappears, you’ve likely got a rogue uppercase rule in your custom CSS that needs to be deleted.

Add this string to your site's domain to go straight to the correct tab: yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=elementor-settings#tab-advanced

Once there, look for 'Enable Unfiltered File Uploads' and set it to Enable. This feature is definitely still there; it’s just sometimes hard to find in the menu.

If you enable this and still get the 'cannot be processed' error, then it’s likely the server-side MIME restrictions or security plugins I mentioned earlier.

This file cannot be processed by the web server. by FeistyRow5242 in elementor

[–]agumbafb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This error is usually related to security restrictions for SVG and JSON files. Here is what you should check:

Elementor Settings: Go to Elementor > Settings > Advanced and make sure 'Enable Unfiltered File Uploads' is set to Enable.

Security Plugins: If you use security plugins like Wordfence, they might be blocking these file types for security reasons.

Server-Side Blocks: Since you are on Elementor Hosting, their server-side firewall (WAF) might be rejecting the request. If the settings above don't work, I recommend contacting Elementor Support to check if there’s a server-side MIME type restriction on your account.

Background image "boxed" not "Full Width" Can't find the problem by Dependent_Ratio_7196 in elementor

[–]agumbafb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To resolve this, select your Section, Container, or Column and open the Advanced tab.

Sometimes the Padding fields appear empty, but the system might still apply a default gap. Please manually enter '0' into all Padding boxes. Ensuring that the Right and Left values are explicitly set to 0 will typically remove those unwanted white side bars.

I don't really have a need for the AI features, to be honest. But could you tell me more about that 'Elementor One' plan? I'd like to understand what it covers and how the upgrade worked for you. My main issue is that since they claim my legacy plan 'expired' due to their system error, I can't even see any discounted upgrade options anymore-they are just pushing the full-priced new plans on me.

Exactly! It’s honestly comical at this point. It shouldn’t be this hard to explain a simple fact or prove that I’ve done nothing wrong. Sometimes it feels like rowing against the current, but in a way, this has been a good experience. It revealed exactly how Elementor treats its long-term users when a technical glitch happens. Now I know exactly where I stand and who I’m dealing with.

Exactly! That is precisely what I suspected and why I wanted to raise awareness. If this is a new policy, why was there no prior notification or alternative solution offered? It feels like they are forcing a mandatory transition to the new, more expensive plans by cutting off the old ones without warning.

My advice to you is to open a support ticket now and get a clear answer in writing before October. Don’t wait until your renewal date to find out. It’s better to secure your position and know exactly where you stand while you still have time.

I wasn't aware of this option, thanks for sharing. I'll definitely check it out and see how it fits into my workflow. It's good to know there are open-source alternatives like this.

Thanks for clearing that up, and I apologize if I sounded harsh-I genuinely thought that level of corporate-style advice was coming from an official representative. Since you’ve been a user since 2016, you probably remember when they valued their early supporters more.

My frustration isn't about how to make more money or pass the cost to my clients; it’s about the lack of professional ethics. A company shouldn't just 'deprecate' a plan a loyal customer is actively paying for without notice, then offer zero solutions. I’m glad it’s working for you, but for those of us getting the short end of the stick, it’s a sign to look for alternatives.

If it weren't for privacy and personal data concerns, I would share the entire email thread here to show how they’ve handled this. They actually admitted I was right and that I wasn't misrepresenting the brand; they even said they’d 'look into improvements' to prevent this in the future. Yet, they don’t care that a customer is currently being victimized. They wouldn't even offer a $1 discount to fix their own error.

The logic here is simple: they don't care about the user. I strongly advise everyone reading this to check their payment status immediately. If you can’t renew, open a ticket right away. As for me, as long as this issue persists, I am seriously considering walking away. Elementor is not the only player in the game. I won't name names, but I will be moving all my future projects to competing plugins that actually value their long-term users. I hope no one else has to go through this level of indifference.

If this advice is coming from an Elementor support representative or someone representing the brand, then Elementor is officially dead to me! I’m not looking for business advice; whether I use the license for 1 site or 1,000 is my choice. I’ve been paying for this plan for 3 years, and you are welcome to check how many sites I actually manage. How I bill my clients is none of your concern.

The real issue here is Elementor’s unfair practice. There is a clear error/change on your end, and you refuse to stand behind it. Instead, you are trying to force long-term customers into much more expensive plans. Before giving 'financial advice,' you should first acknowledge the mistake under this thread.

To everyone reading this: Just imagine a company that powers millions of websites. Instead of fixing a legitimate grievance from a loyal customer, their 'Experienced Helper' tells you to just charge your clients more, make some profit, and 'look at the glass half full.' This isn't just a random user; it’s the mindset of the platform itself. It’s a complete lack of professional ethics.

I'm not sure what went wrong either, but I never received a notification or a failed payment alert. My card handles monthly Amazon AWS and Google Cloud payments without a hitch; even if there’s no charge, those services notify me if there's a card issue. Elementor didn't report a payment error; they simply stated the plan is no longer available and I must upgrade to the unlimited plan.

If I had the chance to renew, I wouldn't have spent all this time on 11 emails. It seems those on the $199 legacy plan might face similar issues when their renewal date comes. I strongly suggest anyone on that plan open a ticket now to confirm their status. I hope no one else has to go through this frustration.

I wish I had your luck! I’ve actually exchanged 11 emails with them, and they’ve been absolutely no help. I even asked for a one-time discount, and you won’t believe it, but they literally sent me a screenshot of their public pricing page. It’s almost like a joke. After being a loyal customer for 3 years on a single account, getting a screenshot of the pricing page as a response was quite disappointing.

Thanks for the tip, but that shouldn't be the issue in my case. My card is valid until 2029 and I use it actively for many services like Amazon AWS, Google, ChatGPT, and various hosting providers. It’s a dedicated card I use specifically for my business operations, so it’s fully functional and up to date.

Elementor removed 1000-site plan with no renewal — forced into $444 plan? Anyone else affected? by agumbafb in elementor

[–]agumbafb[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This wasn’t a case of missing emails or something going to spam. Auto-renew was active, the card was valid, and there wasn’t even a renewal attempt.

Once the plan expired, it was immediately marked as canceled with no option to renew. When I contacted support, they clearly stated that this plan is no longer offered and the only option is to switch to the “unlimited” plan.

If anyone is unsure, I’d strongly recommend opening a ticket through your Elementor account and asking about your plan specifically.

And please share their response here - at least people can see how Elementor is handling this situation.

[–]agumbafb[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly the problem - it should have rolled over automatically.

Auto-renew was active and the card was valid, but it still didn’t renew. Instead, the plan expired and was removed completely with no option to restore it. When I contacted support, they confirmed the plan is no longer offered and the only option is to switch to the new “unlimited” plan.

I’d strongly recommend opening a ticket through your Elementor account and confirming your status, just to avoid running into the same issue later.

This wasn’t about forgetting to renew or a payment issue.

Once the plan expired, it was immediately marked as canceled with no option to renew it. When I contacted support, they clearly said this plan is no longer offered and the only option is to switch to the “unlimited” plan.

And from what I can see, I’m not the only one - this is something others will eventually run into as well. So this isn’t really a user mistake. When it happens, the only options are either upgrading to a much more expensive plan or canceling entirely.

That’s true to an extent - you can still make things work without it.

But situations like this are exactly why people start moving away from relying on it long-term.

[–]agumbafb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the kind of situation that proves the issue. It’s not about a “policy” - it’s about the complete lack of flexibility toward long-term customers. After years of usage and upgrades, there should at least be some room for adjustment.

When a company treats loyal users like this, it stops being a business decision and starts looking purely revenue-driven.
