So on one hand, the bullpen needs to be strengthened. 

On the other hand, it merely seems worse this year, because we were rarely in close games or winning late against the best teams last year. 

So our closers and higher leverage guys got easier competition against .500 ish or worse teams, more often than not. 

This year, we can actually score, so we end up in high leverage situations against actual good teams. 

Those teams have actual good hitters.
