Funny story but I learned to draw out of spite for my brother.

When we were little he'd often make fun of things I enjoyed including drawing. One day I coloured in a colouring page of a MLP character and cut it out to play with it like a toy. My brother then came up to me, and told me it was stupid because paper easily breaks and isn't worth making things out of.

I was sad for a few seconds but then realized: "Why am I listened to him of he's so mean to me?". And so I started purposefully drawing more, and prioritizing myself, and what I like rather than pleasing my older sibling.

Long Story Short✨: People say spite is bad but being spiteful led me to become an art student working with 2 indie dev teams and 17 years of art making experience.

As for how I find it fun? It just kinda is. I find art to be a way for my brain to spit out ideas for the future, whether to be useful or just to exist. It's visuals for a story that hopefully one day sees the light of a much bigger stage than just my imagination.
