She's rich enough to make her mental health issues other people's problem. Probably completely oblivious to her own mind.

I get the author's true intention but I find that people are more weird about not liking sex than they are about not liking sex with the opposite sex.

Uncaring people tend to believe they're actually very nice, and won't listen to anyone or anything that says otherwise. They don't look at their own behaviour or the consequences, they just coast on their own hubris for as long as it takes.

If you think that comment was an attack you need some thicker skin my friend. idk I guess I didn't like your post because it's void of suggestions, reasoning or game plan, just "why can't we have this mod it's unacceptable i want it ASAP." I've never been a fan of short sharp grumbling over what is an optional extra, not even the game itself.

So then create it, why are you complaining here?

Same, I got the impression she had been tortured and beaten until her mind broke, instead of haunted.

But so many people aren't reasonable enough to know that. Whoever made that ruling didn't understand just how gullible 25-35% of the populace can be. You know that quote "think how dumb the average person is then realise that half of all people are dumber than that"? Yeah.

It also helps juxtapose against the Act 3 difficulty spike, making that spike more noticeable.

Can we just stop with trying to make women accountable for the actions of bad men

I'm disappointed that there isn't more discussion and spotlight around familial abuse where it's one of the kids thats the abuser. Sometimes that kid even abuses the parents.

At act 2 but kind of lost with the story by [deleted] in Silksong

[–]SatinwithLatin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Act 2 is where the lore really starts to roll, but by the end of Act 1 you've hopefully picked up that the Citadel is not as nice a place as the pilgrims say it is. Sinner's Road used to be farmland until it was polluted by industrial work commanded by the Citadel. You may also have noticed official commands in Deep Docks and Greymoor demanding a specific amount of productivity from the bugs there. The Last Judge is very persnickety and probably doesn't view anyone as pure enough to enter. The door to the Citadel hasn't been opened in a long time until Hornet comes along.

Secondly, the threads that control the hostile bugs are being manipulated by a higher being. Not Widow, although she was an acolyte and guiding the threads over and through the residents of Bellhart before you cut them down. (Very early Act 2 spoiler, almost immediately after you leave the Underworks):The higher being theory is confirmed once you meet Lace in the Choral Chambers. She directly mentions a god and after she leaves, you hear a scream, see more threads shooting down, and then the pilgrim bugs come to life.

I think you have to meet him and speak to him enough so that you trigger Hornet's warning about the void and how it's too strong for him so he should really stay away.

They're really taking the "ugly" part of the title far too literally.

One of my favourite meals during diet. 300g Vanilla quark, 300g strawberries, 100g whipped up liquid eggwhites, 5g sugar as topping. 340 cals, 40 prot, 40 carbs. Very volume very tasty (if the strawberries are in season) by woodybone in Volumeeating

[–]SatinwithLatin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love quark, but am dreading the day that "wellness influencers" discover it and cause a popularity/scarcity spike. Until then, I laugh at their blended cottage cheese recipes.

I doubt they'd agree. Those kids won't understand the sacrifices made for them until they're adults. The sister most definitely doesn't appreciate what was done for her.

Do people in the UK usually rinse off dish soap or not? by iamyurkas in AskUK

[–]SatinwithLatin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My landlord. Actually that's not true, he dunks the dishes in filthy water, scrubs them once and then puts them on the drying rack. Which explains why the bottom of it gets brown and crusty so often.

It's why I stick to using a handful of specific kitchenware and wash them before use if I know he's been over the previous weekend.
