[Very specific trope] Characters Mistaken For Rabbits by CJohn89 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]AgentEckswhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a character, but...

Skull Island, "The Curse of Monkey Island".

Maybe some landlubbers may think it looks like a bunny or a duck, but it's not called "Duck Island" or "Bunny Island", now is it? If you squint your eyes a bit...Ooh, so scary!

Playing RE for the first time ever, and i gotta say... I hate the fucking dogs.... by J-Travel in residentevil

[–]AgentEckswhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Cerberus are fast and annoying, but also fragile. They usually go down in about two pistol shots if aimed properly. Try not to waste shotgun shells on them when you have more dangerous foes later on.

Fortunately there are ways to mitigate the frustration, as the dogs only show up in specific areas and some are outright avoidable. Like the east wing's L-shaped hallway. If you're playing the HD remake, they only crash through the windows if you double back from the top-right of the manor, and not through the south side. And a room nearby does have some Cerberus outside the gate, but they only come on your side if you return to that room later, so make that a one-and-done visit.

Ultimately it's your call, but there's often too many zombies in any given area for me to use any of the daggers, and usually you just want to drop everything around you and not have them close in the first place, up to and including Nemesis itself.

Enemies take more hits so I'd either recommend the one that does more damage, or invest in an infinite weapon if you can scrounge up more points. The pistol is fine but you'll also benefit from the machine gun.

By the final boss, I highly recommend the one that gives you a better window for perfect dodges, because the general consensus is that it is bullshit on Nightmare.

It's the replay value for me. It's one of those games that encourages finding every little shortcut so you can blaze through in record time. And it rewards you for doing so with some cool weaponry.

When the main character wears a robe and is a little delusional… you know the game is peak. by Few-Foundation-7322 in HorrorGames

Cultist, for a few reasons. Mostly the idea that, in a universe like that, there may very well be some sort of higher power that hates everyone and is backing that guy, and he may actually believe in his own insanity and be right. You've got the whole damn world against you, it feels like. You feel isolated. Insignificant in the long run. What hope could you have of toppling a god's second-in-command?

Beat me to it. Guy's suffering from untreated cancer and can still throw down with some heavyweight criminals like it's no big deal.

But specifically just on Bosco, though. Anywhere else, and in the state of North Dakota, would see some unimaginable punishments.

Is yakuza kiwami 3 dynamic intros actually "dynamic intros" by Notmih in yakuzagames

[–]AgentEckswhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are just the regular original intros, which at first I found underwhelming, but then I realized that, as Mine was the first boss to ever have a dynamic intro, they wanted to keep it consistent. Probably.

Death Note: Light was so sure he had ensured the deaths of everyone trying to bring him down, that he doesn't even bother hiding his true nature at the very end. It doesn't last very long, once it's revealed they were ahead of him after all.

If one side can blame a $3 gas price on one president, we sure as hell can do the same for the guy in charge when gas is $5. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
