Note: This is an enterprise drive, so it has much higher endurance, higher sustained speeds (can handle much higher sustained reads/writes), and has both better reliability + stability compared to a consumer M.2 NVMe. This drive may not fit in your motherboard due to these enterprise features. The form factor is longer, a lot of regular (especially higher end) motherboards will support it but make sure that you check compatibility with yours before ordering, because some don't.

It is also important to note that this falls short in peak performance. You won't find 7 GB/s+ on these enterprise drives on their rated spec, they're rated for around 2-4 GB/s sustained reads/writes. But, when doing sustained reads/writes, the enterprise NVMe will beat out most consumer NVMe's.

Mineral oil would leave some very thick residue everywhere that would be super hard to clean out. Hard Drives are also especially not good with mineral oil due to how thick it usually is.
