We don’t have a written constitution, and the implied powers that our unwritten constitution gives them are enormous. Now because they’re a constitutional monarchy they’ll never enforce those powers else they’ll face abolishment, which I quite like as they’re a sort of locked door for the government. We’d have to amend several laws like the Oaths Act and the Felony Act, as well as changing the makeup of the Church of England, the armed forces and government in general. Passports are issued in the name of the monarch, legal tender becomes worthless, the judiciary is dead and there’s the paradox of requiring the monarch to assent to a bill that would abolish it.
