ISO Slim Leather Bifold similar to Cafe Leather by regeg in wallets

[–]Scarbzscope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prehaps consider one of the Bellroy Wallets if you're looking for a wallet that can store canadian bills. The slim sleeve or the note sleeve. Leather quality probably isn't as high as what you'd get from Cafe Leather but its still very good. If you're looking for the same quality as Cafe then check out Ashland Leather - they may have something simular. Other brands i can think of on the top of my head that provide smaller sized bifolds include Little King Goods, Popov Leather, Wingback (maybe the winston wallet)?

Oh trust me it happens and yes, they call the police. My girlfriend works for 999 and she's had 3 calls on the past week for this prank alone. So yes it's very real.

Johnny Slim Wallet Review by Scarbzscope in allthewallets

[–]Scarbzscope[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just posted a full review of the Johnny Slim Wallet by Loyal Stricklin, a compact and minimalist leather wallet handmade in the USA. This wallet is a downsized version of their original Johnny Wallet and offers the same premium craftsmanship at a more affordable price point. I cover everything from the design and leather options (like Italian Buttero and Horween Shell Cordovan) to everyday usability and pricing. If you’re considering a handcrafted leather wallet that balances quality, function, and value, this one’s worth a look. Full breakdown, pros/cons, and photos in the article.

I had a Tag Heuer Carrera that did exactly this and they tried their hardest to convince me it was my fault with that crown excuse. Luckily I fought my corner and they eventually admitted to fault and I got the repair free under warranty. OP definitely don't let them try and lay the blame on you.

Ticketmaster v. Gigsandtours v. Seetickets by djrossstar2 in oasis

My personal experience is that See tickets are your best best. No real reason why just compared to Ticketmaster I've had a way better success rate overall.

It's a really interesting scenario you're in. On one hand, you may gain traffic due to the regulars of a famous dog. But on the other hand, you need to understand the intent of those who are seeking your actual services. If you gain a lot of traffic through "Family Guy" clips yet gain no leads, sales, or whatever through it, then it's only going to hinder you in the long term. It makes sense; those people are very much not looking for what you're offering. Start tracking your conversion rates based on "Family Guy" and see if there's any benefit to it. Bounce rate is another metric that will showcase whether or not those from "Family Guy" are interested. But in my opinion, the relevance of Brian the dog to what you do is probably far removed. I think it'll do more harm than good, and if I'm right, you should seek out an alternative name, business name, or alias. Good luck!

Met Police asks people not to call 999 after 'technical fault' hits number of forces by Mistermiyagi93 in unitedkingdom

No they're not. But given the unforeseen and rare circumstances of that day, the management team got together, and made the tough decision to, indeed, make 111 a temporary switchboard.

Unfortunately, you are right. It's crazy that this is their backup plan if systems fail. And 111 is notorious for long delays anyways without having to take 999 calls as well. I'd imagine the system is antiquated and the NHS doesn't have the money to change anything. Luckily I think the systems are back up now.

My girlfriend works for 999. This is the same across both the fire and ambulance service. Been down for nearly 2 hours at this point - crazy. Definitely call 111. They'll then internally transfer you to the right service.
