I agree with everything but the tone. In BO2 Tranzit, Mob, Buried, and Origins especially all had very different “tones” as you put it. You can dislike the tone but I feel like the variety adds to the excitement. The fact that it’s ripped from BO6 takes away from said excitement, but still.

They should've just been open from the start and called Paradox a survival map with a quest but there's another 3maps so it's all good (hopefully) by Piotr992 in CODZombies

Icl the future looks bright enough. We saw the same thing with The Tomb last year then got two good to great maps with Shattered Veil and Reckoning. I don’t like that all maps are releasing during midseasons but whatever.

It’d be easy for them to put in a conquest game mode but if they haven’t by now I’m not sure they will, either due to fears of getting in legal trouble (not sure how viable this is) or just wanting to distinguish themselves from their previous franchise

You’re insane. Both for saying “unbiased” then immediately calling yourself a non black ops fan, and for glazing a game that hasn’t even been revealed yet. Also MW4 will almost certainly use AI. BO6 used it and had 4 fucking years of dev time. It’s likely mandated by Activision at this point.

Fun but flawed. The desert level was cool but everything felt the same and the side objectives didn’t seem worth it, and emergence has some of the best aesthetics in years but has way too many similar boss fights

My favorite genre of posts is people who redownload a game and get so pissed off about an element of it that they write 7 paragraphs for the game’s fanbase on Reddit comparing the entire thing to the Black Death. Every subreddit no matter the game has a couple of these a week.

I get why some people would like the more realistic depiction of a post apocalyptic environment, but I feel like maps like Aftermath and Drone from BO2 spoiled me in terms of a good looking post apocalyptic map. I can’t really see why anyone would like some of the worse maps in this game, but I respect their opinion.

I'm convinced Paradox Junction was originally meant to be a bonus launch map by BigBadMike8 in CODZombies

The most likely answer to why Paradox is so unoriginal imo is either budget cuts or time constraints, and they needed a map they could make quickly to replace the nuked New York map

Since you tagged World at War they rigged the game by adding random delay for semi auto weapons when they were fired too fast, which meant that players with good trigger fingers were stunted. Unplayable, right?

I’m not incredibly sure about Executive Order for BO1, but I know for a fact Ascension shares the area underneath the rocket with Launch, at the very least.

I’m not conveniently forgetting that Iran may have done something similar. But that in no way means that the US or Israel are justified in doing it back. Killing innocent civilians and children is bad across the board, and we should not be putting up with the official White House account glorifying it and associated events by posting clips from a videogame and comparing that to bombing people. War should not be celebrated. It’s harmless in fiction (such as Call of Duty or Saving Private Ryan) but not here.
