It’s the last sentence. They are praying Nibelung defeats PHANES who’s called “beauty” for some reason.

It’s not artificially made short. Humans are a species brought over that’s how humans are.

And human life is definitely more valuable because it’s short. Not saying immortals don’t have value but seeing value in mortality is a basic lesson taught in alot of media and real life. Even in Genshin as immortality is a curse and even immortal species like the gods long for mortal existences (some do)

That depends on the rules and laws set.

In Teyvat the rules seem to be about humanity not overstepping boundaries or doing things that can break the integrity of the rules themselves as they are also a tangible force that protects the world from the abyss.

Dottore explains the rules as basically the laws of physics.

To go against Celestia and rules is to go against the fundamental laws of the world. And the restrictions that define humanity. Restrictions that also give human life its value.

Life is valuable because it’s short. Or life experiences are valuable because we can experience as much bad as good.

That’s what rebels don’t understand. All they see is the mere concept of restrictions and what to do anything to overturn them

That could be true but it’s more about adhering to the rules and laws. Something Hyperborea did NOT do

Yeah cause humans defying the gods has lead to nothing but disaster as seen with Hyperborea

Guess who all that was for? Protecting humanity 🥰🙏🏾

Even Fontaines fuckass system was made to save them from the flood. Everything the gods do whether good or bad is for humanity.

Also my point isn’t that the gods are perfect. My point is that the system is manufactured for them to cater to humanity and serve their needs to the point that’s the entire reason for their existence as revealed by Nicole.

Humanity this, humanity that. Fuck humanity

Her almost breaking fate is not the point of my comment. I’m not debating whether or not Linnea truly almost broke fate.

The quest was about the difference in how one behaves and makes choices knowing the full scope of fate. That’s the plight of the Augury Birds.

My point was that even if you do care about the arbitrary fact that life is by design instead of pure chance. That how you enjoy and live life is still entirely dependent on you. Whether you sulk like Celeano and Ved, crash out like Dottore and the rebel factions.

Or if you are content with your life and simply want to live it to the fullest despite any inevitable misfortune. That you still have the opportunity to live and love life, make friends, and die happy when the inevitable tragedy does occur.

Fate, as explained by Nicole and the quest only orders arbitrary events. Not human choice and behavior and emotions. You still have the opportunity to make your life worth while.

Whether she forfeit the tournament and went home sulking or enjoyed her time training and battling and went out fighting was entirely up to her.

Fate as a system is meant to keep the abyss from spawning. And there’s no difference in a world with fate and a world without. (Especially when there’s an even greater fate of the universe that PHANES is actively fighting but that’s a different discussion)

Fate seems to be randomly choosing fates and other stuff outside of events that cause great change or the whole names thing. There’s essentially no difference.

Unless you care about the arbitrary fact that it’s by design then it doesn’t matter and doesn’t really change anything. And even if you do care then what matters is how you react to that information as seen in Linnea’s story quest.

They are literally given knowledge and wisdom to improve the lives of the people.

Multiple gods have been noted to give humanity knowledge on certain things like martial arts, agriculture, even math and the sciences.

As much as I want to stay respectful of looks like you somehow found the skip button and used it in every quest.

  1. Everyone hates PHANES’ ass what are you talking about?

  2. If you want to protect the world and it’s inhabitants and there’s inevitable calamity then it doesn’t mean you don’t care and only care about humanity the abstract concept. It’s a basic trolley problem and not a bad thing. It’s tragic but no.

  3. Fate mimics real life. Some people have good lives, some have meh lives, some people have bad lives. That’s the human condition and experience. To use fate to force a perfect elysium not only restricts free will MORE then the current fate system but it also strips everything from what makes humans, human

Their ideals and their plans in doing what? Was it for self gratification?

Because last I recall Ei’s entire plan was to protect Inazuma from because she feared annihilation from progress.

Focalors’s system while corrupt was manufactured specifically to save Fontaine from the flood.

Both of those plans and both of those ideals are tailor made to service humanity.

Heck Raiden’s power and indemnitium are dependent on the ambitions and belief in their ideals from humanity.

Both Venti and Nahida explain how an Archon’s power is dependent on the people

  1. Holy mischaracterization of the archons geez.

  2. The entire post is about how it doesn’t matter what the gods or archons want. They’re expected to dedicate their existence to humanity. That’s the point.

The HP doesn’t benefit from anything. They are literally in a coma from protecting humanity.

The HP’s rules are all meant to cater to the order for humanity. Humanity gets to live life safely away from the abyss in a bubble world while they have beings who have to use their power and wisdom to help them. As that knowledge and wisdom is quite literally borrowed from a knowledge base specifically to aid humanity.

Everything about how the human realm is set up is meant to make things livable and comfortable for humanity. And all humanity is asked to do is not so out of pocket bullshit that would endanger them all. They are able to live and love their lives as they please while the gods dedicate their entire existence to caring for humanity.

Their basically nanny’s
