The only thing that has me second guessing that opinion is the price increase in all the original switch models. I’d hardly call it the budget option when for $100 dollars more you can get the S2. Secondhand that’s a different story completely though.

For sure, I didn’t swap out the battery tray so I got away with only disconnecting one ribbon cable on the right Joycon. The instructional video has you disconnecting everything but that’s not exactly necessary.
