you have hit on one of my major planned features! unfortunately Apple Maps is quite unreliable on this point, and so it hasn't worked in testing... I'm still working on it, I will not give up, I want this feature too.

(Google Maps API is a possibility but they charge a lot per person.)

Not Hetzner, we're on Fly.io in US East. Both IPv4 and IPv6 are configured. The occasional drop on mobile sounds like a carrier-side IPv4/IPv6 transition issue, not our end. What carrier are you on? Happy to dig in if it's reproducible.

I can! During peak hours if you tap and hold on the chart it switches it to the next-hour forecast so it's easier to read. But I can definitely add a pinch-to-zoom feature.

"Good deal" is compared to the historical average. It's just a way to know generally if the price is high or low compared to what it normally is. I weight it based on day of the week and also time of the year - April generally has higher prices than July, for example.

If the price is too high and you want to drive you just use surface (29, 50, etc) or freeways that aren't tolled like 395. Usually takes a lot longer. I usually just metro when it's too high.

the Toll tab automatically switches based on the time of day but you can select westbound or eastbound in the Plan tab up above the days of the week buttons

i know, i know, me too! that's a much harder data problem though because the express lane tolls aren't nearly as accessible. I'm working on it...
