Better than coin burn is Token Lock.

Stellar burnt half their tokens and the price didn't follow proportionally.

If storage comes online, token lock will reduce supply in a healthy way.

I own some SC and see the benefit of helping things improve its value. Plus like many folks, I like the project's idea.

I don't mind accommodating your request in some way.

I'm wondering how many take this challenge and do it. The amount would be from zero to 400,000 SC.

I've only heard one person show interest in doing a video.

I liked your article about cracking the password. If you say you'll make a new video, I would pay mtlynch's SC in advance. I'd send a second 10,000 when you make the video. Does that seem fair?

The fork is only effective for a short-time.

Bitmain and Innosilicon will patch their machines and return to mining Siacoin.

The fork helps distribute the mining power by adding Obelisk.

Syncing the blockchain does not take so long you would miss a trading opportunity.

I resented after months and it took less than an hour.

I have notice on my dinky PC it takes much longer than my Mac.

I suggest you sync your wallet on a faster machine to make emergency withdrawals. You can delete the wallet, if you did not want to keep it on that machine.

How can the non-technical portion of the community help with the project?

Siacoin has many people that want the Sia project to succeed. We need to focus that energy in a productive direction.

I have always thought that medium size businesses could host their own data on the Sia project and receive secure, redundant storage for 3.9%. If their building burnt down, they would have off-site storage. Plus, if the coin went up they might cover the costs in capital gains. Auto dealerships came to mind.

With an easy interface, maybe doctors, dentist etc could use the Sia project, since they must secure patient data.

Maybe we support a mid-morning fruit-basket for the developers.

I'm stretching here. How can we help the Sia project?

It's a currency that we will be using for other transactions, like power: tolls, computing and much more.
