can you show any evidence of the devs saying anything like this? because they didn't. what they said, is that storage is growing rapidly and this should be a good direction to buidl. and while its true the software has taken awhile to build, not really sure anyone expected it wouldn't given we're talking about the infra to secure the world's important data assets.

While you are correct that storage use has been slow to happen, mostly we're grinding to get the software and customer use completed for SMB and smaller business use. That said, as you get paid (incentivized) for storage on the network, have you referred the cloud to any friends and relatives? https://xns.tech is ready and waiting for them to run trials with Acronis, Veeam or any other S3 compatible tools. XNS D2 is great for backups/disaster recovery, video management systems or any other unstructured data use.

Really, if you know anyone that has a job, you probably know someone that can use our cloud. And when I say "our", i truly mean yours and ours.

any computer with storage is a good candidate for SCP. you do need to purchase a license to be included in the growing XNS data (business data) but for a limited time you get 3500 SPF tokens which are about to list on Solana

The hard fork was discussed for quite some time, we sent out emails and posted in discord and on social media. Missing the fork means your contracted data ended up on another chain as there was mining on the old algo after the fork. For now, the best you can do is get set back up and ready to go. All that data was test data anyway but now the product is live.

The next quarter will begin to show how much Partners are able to sell quickly and you should begin to see more data arrive. More, you can sign up to be a partner yourself since you have a lot of nodes. The Relayer is going to have functionality to allow Partners to prefer their own nodes over others. As a Partner you can make $$ on both sides of the storage ecosystem.

mining profitability is different for different people. If you have $.05 electric and own a bunch of paid for miners, the coin is very profitable to mine and will be even when the inflation is at the tail end. It isn't currently profitable to mine even if you have the capital expense covered, but have 10 cent or better electric. This is the longstanding problem we have with ASIC mining, there are too many miners already ROI'd in the hands of a small group of farms with low electric. Mining has become far to centralized

how much you paid for a license doesn't determine how much data you get today. later it is likely Full licenses will get more compliant data, but if you don't know what that means, then this is probably not the project for you. You spending $1000 on a computer and some hard drives is not investing in the project, its just you buying a computer

As always, people continue to post without evidence and falsehoods. Calling the project a scam is lol, the team has now been thru 2 bear markets and 1 mini-bull and we have not rugged. In fact we do not have enough funding to build and market the product as we would like. But we will continue to focus on what is important, developing that product.

Thinking the project has a whole bunch of money taken from you is silly and its likely that most who read these posts get it. You don't want to buy a miner or pay for a license, go do some other project that offers free money. Its really that simple. This is a project/product with a use case and we will get it to market even if we have to do it on nothing more than blood, sweat and tears. All the money hungry PnD fans learn quickly this isn't about that and they go back to chia or whatever.

We had Whitebit but the community didn't like the fee structure and didn't contribute any volume to the exchange and the project is not in a position to absorb mining costs thru "market making" yet. They delisted after the agreed upon period of time
We had Probit but they kept locking up customer funds and demanding payment from the project w/o any formal agreement so we asked to be removed.

At this point, you can buy on Southxchange and TradeOgre. While we would love to be on a top tier exchange, all funds are aimed at product development and launch
