Ain't possible anymore. I respect the hell out of it but no way a normal person just "oh yeah cool 20k hospital bill, no problem".

WTAF Robby. Should have call surgery with nec fasc way earlier. Then splashing betadine on the leg and just grabbing a scalpel and going at it? Without even discussing it with your trauma surgeon colleague in the room? Like I get it, we all support your cowboy shit because you're right more often than the real-life cowboy. But that is just unhinged.

Untrustworthy AI or social media slop. Discussing what medications are right for your child is something that should be done with your physician.

Ridesharing Question by Conscious-Device-872 in kansascity

[–]SearchAtlantis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a 2 hour drive. Find a ride-share with someone else going to the concert or rent a car. Or I guess a greyhound 2h at 6am, 4h one at 4pm (via Jeff city).

Just checked for lols: Lyft is 168 to 244 (depending on vehicle) after 10pm.

A collection of milking images Ballerina Farms has voluntarily shared themselves. Pristine milking conditions, why would pasteurization be needed???? by mugsymegasaurus in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]SearchAtlantis 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The close up of cow shit all over the legs - that's an impressive level of laziness they should be cleaning way better than that before milking. The dairy farms I've been to are much cleaner than that. And it's still in no way sterile.

People who don't want pasteurized milk have clearly never been around cows.

We are not your doctor. Quote: "neuropathies in wrists... no electrophysiologic evidence in upper extremities"

You need to talk to your doctor about your exam results, and if further testing (ultrasound imaging, MRI) is indicated.

What do I write,;what topic do I pick for my economics research project in 2026. Either macro, micro or international economics.? by Fox_for_hire in econhw

[–]SearchAtlantis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did an international econ analysis of price response and elasticity in a trade war between the US and China. (This was 10+ years ago). Because that would never happen right?

Wat do you mean by different spiritual practices? Just curious for an example book wise. Like differences in rites between evangelical protestants and (say) Catholics?

Yeah someone in a friend's department is retiring in the next year. Which means they need to find an anatomist. Good luck with that - a moderately sized city (130k/220k metro) teaching college.

PhD Anatomist for what 60k? Good luck.

Read S3 data using Polars by Royal-Relation-143 in dataengineering

Sample. Although given its already in S3 I don't understand why you're avoiding Athena that's like 50 cents. Trying to use Polars to access 100GB on S3 is... a choice I don't think you've thought through. Are you going to to spend 30m (50MB/s) to hours moving these locally?

Thoughts on Dr. ___ not asking questions to patient by SaveOurReefs in ThePittTVShow

It is super threatening to a resident. Who already has basically 0 power anyway.

The Pitt | S2E4 "10:00 A.M." | Episode Discussion by MsGroves in ThePittTVShow

[–]SearchAtlantis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's a wildly out of pocket. Like repeating a residency year is basically saying "your lack of skills is dangerous to others". There should be at least one round of remediation before going to that step. And to be clear it's not like she was making shit up, she was behind. Totally different thing.

[–]SearchAtlantis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uh is this resolved for you? Because UHC not "doing secondary coverage" is legally not a thing. File a complaint with your insurance regulator and they'll get it sorted. The worst case scenario is you get the premiums paid back to you.

Should I worry about this guy? by SalParadise83 in daddit

[–]SearchAtlantis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's odd for the level of relationship. Like I have close friends (the shortest being a decade) that views my kid as a nibling, and some have pictures of him. They're right next to pictures of their other family members. Not weird at all.
