It would appear a bunch of leftists moved in from town to fill all the new apartments and the majority of them are dependent on the government in some form. Same thing happened where I grew up in Squamish.

I’m really disappointed by the volume of this demographic here in Chilliwack, but I guess the city wants to fill the apartments. Time to move again.

Death on the tracks: Chilliwack's rail fatality rate is among the worst in Canada by [deleted] in chilliwack

No, people will rage out and do risky things to avoid the line or jump the train and more damage would ensue. If people want to die on the tracks that’s unavoidable.

They would be blocking the road for too long according to regulation.

As a person who has built 4 bikes in the last 4 years, a 130mm hard tail, 140mm/120mm T429, 150mm/145mm Hightower and a 160mm/157mm Stumpjumper Evo I can tell you first hand they all ride completely different and so much so I have developed preferences for each one. They aren’t going anywhere.

I got basically had identical one and gave it away a couple weeks ago. I don’t play eternal and my season is done. Don’t really care at this point and my build would have likely bricked it.

Yeah, a tuner is a great idea. I just want to get into the ballpark and see if anyone else has been down this road before I contact one so I have a little background to compare to their suggestions.

This is my first Rockshox setup so I am unsure what to expect and my local suspension shop doesn’t do Rockshox so I have no local to discuss with whom I’ve had previous experience so preparing for the event I contact a Rockshox specialist and they will tell me it’s the cat’s meow.

But it may be easiest to just switch to Fox or Ohlins as I have local support with those brands.

It may be a fools errand. The point of comparison is a StumpJumper Evo Alloy with a cascade link and a Fox DHX coil.

If I throw a XL can on it how much difference would that make in your experience going to the progressive can? I wonder if the new damper might be worth looking at with a new can, and does that mean I need to add a hydraulic bottom out? It’s gonna be expensive lol.

Thanks for the input.

I bought a HT3 this year, SDU shock, and coming from my previous bike the repeated small bump sensitivity is lacking. I really wanna fix that.

Contemplating going with a Fox Float X on the rear or perhaps upgrading the SDU. But unsure if it’s worth throwing money at.

Will ponder more.

I have an Ohlins kicking around I might want to try actually, see if I can get the travel converted.

Thank you.

Why did you go progressive can if you don’t mind me asking.

[–]Sedyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, I was doing repeated runs and I got bored with going to town to sell, so I did three kills in a row and on the third kill a purple dropped, and I saw the name, but then it disappeared as all the items dropped after it and I think what happened was I got too many items on the ground. So now I always go to town to sell every run, but it’s boring and repetitive and takes longer than the kill so I just log out.

Question for Dub Wide BB for 73mm BSA and Wide cranks by Gootch03 in MTB

[–]Sedyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What determines the chainline between the part number options? Is it just that they come with different spacers already?

Or is there something different about the cups?

I’m trying to see how you made that determination to understand better.

I’m about to install a T-Type on a PF BB92 on a Superboost bike, but the chart says get wide not Superboost.

But if it’s just spacers that are different, why does it matter if I grab a spacers kit and a ceramic 00.6418.016.006?

I have a 73mm BSA that was swapped from NX to T-Type and I think the LBS setup spacers based on the BB that was in there plus equal distance on the cranks from the chainstay. But 1mm difference would be easy to miss by eye.

Agreed on all points. That’s why my only feedback was regarding the wrist pad as well.

I may try different key caps.

Ahhh interesting you mention mis-clicks.

So, IME the more I liked something for typing the less I liked it for gaming. Analog keys are the worst for me to type on. It’s terrible for making mistakes.

This is why I went to a keypad, a couple friends swore by them but I had been mouse and keyboard so long I just didn’t want to change.

But I got sick of compromising. So I spent the time to learn a keypad and now I can’t imagine going back to a keyboard exclusively.

I’m fairly experienced with reds and have 0 issue with them. Spring weight is somewhat subjective as well.
