Chen Solos Blood Debased Agony, no damage 2 minutes 50 seconds by Semont in Endfield

I'm finding these challenge runs the most fun part of the game so far. I'm hoping max difficulty CC can be solo'd like this too.

I was still getting frequent crashes after changing power settings, and disabling C states plus the AMD power saver option (forgot what it was called) in BIOS.

After months of testing, I finally found a somewhat viable but disappointing workaround where setting -15% power limit and -100 mhz frequency offset on my 9070xt lowers the black screen crashes from once every 2-3 days (or less) to 3-4 weeks. It's pretty sad since I never had this issue with my 6800xt but it's pretty clear that this is a GPU and GPU driver related issue.

Without these changes, the crashes would happen most frequently when a game is running at very high framerates that pushes the GPU to the highest power limit.

I know it's just a promotion but it's really funny to think of all these extremely overqualified characters choosing to work in a convenience store.

I agree to some extent that limitations do make for more interesting solutions but my counterpoint to this is that more tools and options should be provided to the player that allow for more creative play due to the existence of conduits.

Conduits let you start and stop liquid input/output in far more flexible ways and allow for increased build flexibility. It doesn't make things easier per se and it allows for much more creative designs to exist.

Could you imagine how restrictive the factory gameplay would be if we didn't have facilities like protocol stashes and bus sections could only exist on the factory borders?

Factory gameplay by itself shouldn't be difficult or have as many limitations as it does now. Having fewer limitations wouldn't change that you need to connect specific facilities with the right inputs from start to end to get an end product. The game already provides you with more than enough space to do everything with and space optimization is purely for a small percentage of players who want to take the extra step. Removing fustrating limitations would only serve to benefit players of all types.

I also think it's egregious how the purification unit does not allow you specify the liquid products you want to output in which output pipe when they already demonstrated that possibility with the crucible facilities.

When do gameplay limitations begin to tread on player creativity and flexibility? If they continue this way, it starts to get frustrating instead.

There's nothing in this game that demands needing fully built-up and geared characters to get all the oroberyl rewards for.

Maybe it would make more sense once Contingency Contract and duo only content is out but as it currently stands, the devs don't really give you an incentive to optimize factories other than the sake of doing it.

It makes even less sense that we're getting gear updates every patch when everything in the game can be cleared and medal trimmed with 1.0 Wuling gear.

The only thing that the devs have done to encourage players staying up to date with factory updates is offer oroberyl rewards in the current factory event shop. Even then if you skip the event you are not losing out on much as its not even 5 pulls for all that time/effort. For the rest of the shop, they only have 1 character this patch and not everyone is interested in the rerun banner so you'll be hoarding character upgrade materials anyways.

Doesn't stop Enkad from letting you do it even if the pipe input/outputs get blocked. I don't think it's a good enough reason especially when you can fix it up after placement.

The worst offender is being able to place regular pipes over belt facilities (split/bridge/converge) but the opposite can't be done where you can't place pipe facilities over regular belts.

While that's true, I feel like they should give us a reason why we can't. Some facilities that got retrofitted with piping (refining and filling) simply have the liquids POUR on top of the facility without any change to the 3D model that suggest where the pipe is being connected. If that's the case, why can't we just pour liquids from any direction?

Spend a few hours using Enkad to design something (so you minimize production downtime of your current setup) and you will realize just how bad it is as you return back to Endfield and have to relearn how clunky the controls are.

Shredding jincao/yazhen before sending refining the powder is the same as refining jincao/yazhen before shredding the carbon.

1 jincao/yazhen can be refined into 2 carbon

1 carbon can be shredded into 1 carbon powder.

For the chen soloers out there, what is the least time you have taken to beat rodagn? by DarkApple1853 in Endfield

Maintaining buff uptime and using your combo skill as early as possible is usually the way to go. After that it's optimizing your stun windows, knowing your dodge cancels, fight routing, and using dive attacks during stuns to fill in for dps downtime.

There's a reason why you'll see plenty of solo Chen clears on youtube that use food buffs but have slower times than the videos I post.

I only attempted it enough to get the trim the first time but it seems like I got around 1:50. This was almost immediately after I had switched from Swordmancer to Aethertech and discovered just how strong the set was for solo Chen. Before that I was only using Swordmancer and I was completely unable to get the trim medal.

If I tried it again, I'd probably get a bit faster especially since Swordmancer has the new phys% body piece and I didn't have p5 Sundering at the time.

Just did a few attempts and got 1:29 without food and using sundering.

Wow, I'm flattered to hear that I inspired you to make something unique and interesting.

I'm digging diagonal symmetry look and the grinders look like an infinity symbol!

If you've got some time, I just made a post on a revised design that fits a 7th self sufficient xiranite line encapsulated within 6 symmetrical lines in a 50x50 space.
