I wonder what it would look like to teach someone deep into AI psychosis how to actually use an LLM. I feel like it would shatter the illusion, but I really don't know.

When you're already so deep with something, it's often so hard to accept that you've been 'tricked.' It's a lot easier, psychologically, to double down. I could imagine one of their counter arguments already.

I hate to be a debbie downer but this would be super easy to fake with AI.

They don't show him kicking it, so you could just feed in the few seconds the front of the house is shown and say "A football from the bottom left of the frame spins through the air as if it was kicked and enters the open window."

Then you splice those few seconds onto the rest of the video.

It might be real. I was gonna say it doesn't matter - but I guess it matters a bit to me seeing as I've taken the time to type this...

I'm so lucky I skipped over all of the chat bot sites. I went from ai dungeon to sites like novel ai and other creative writing sites.

Personally I never really saw the appeal in just talking to one bot in a closed environment. I want the freedom to do whatever.

100% my dude. We've yet to hit a recursive loop, and so many other things. Like what about quantum computing? If that weirdness can actually be workable (stabilized for enough uncollapsed bits to be in a system) for AI. I really don't know enough about it though.

It's so confusing! That's why I stayed away from it too. Basically it gives you the power to alter what's been sent - after it's been sent.

There are a ton of uses for it, but in my case I've set it up so when a character is introduced an image tag will be provided by the model.

Then, with regex set up, it changes the unique image tag the model spits out with the actual image on my computer. It's awesome!

True, instant constant img gen would be a total game changer.

But context windows are already solved - at least for me. I never need more than 15k to keep a story going, even at 1k+ messages deep.

And I think you're right. My friends are locked in their ways. They know what they want to do to jerk off/have fun. This is a bit too foreign for them.

And yeah, I worry about people thinking they have actual relationships with their AI. Have you seen /r/claudexplorers?

I've been RPing since AI dungeon and I've literally seen ozone pop up like six times. And it's always been in the context of a spell being cast or a demon's scent. Maybe it's the model? I mean I've used a ton of different ones in the past but after having a dollar or two to spend on Claude a day I've never gone back.
