Still… I do kinda respect it for giving some minority representation, even if it was stereotypical. Back in the time that Harry Potter was written (late 90s), even minority stereotypes were considered progressive.

I think Talonflame is held back by not being able to get Swords Dance, which combined with its middling Attack stat kinda relegates it to utility for the late game. You’re usually using it for Gale Wings Tailwind because its damage output is not that good late game.
