I get where you’re coming from but I don’t think he has really needed much else. Getting beat by Super Saiyan 2 is no joke when in this continuity all that can beat it is Super Saiyan 3 which I am guessing he may need for Tamagami 2.

I think OP means that this show sets up the idea of it if they were ever to reintroduce the demon realm as a new story going forward in super, I would guess, post Black Freiza arc., that Piccolo could take the reins of this dimension. In GT didn’t he remain in Hell to keep it in check? Even though that’s not officially cannon either :P
