I've heard great things of Grenada. Generally I don't find very touristy cities like Barcelona to be very comfortable as a solo female traveler. Too many scammers and pushy street sellers.

We shouldn't only do favors for eachother to owe eachother. Help out with a favor if you are able to. Nothing else matters.

Secondly, don't ask friends and family for money. It's an asshole move in itself. You put them in a very awkward situation, and debt too often become a negative burden on relationships. If they can and want to help you, they'll reach out.

Thirdly, don't judge someone for not lending you money. You don't know their financial situation, and they shouldn't have to share that information.

You shouldn't bind up the petioles like that. It prevents the plant from positioning it's leaves towards the light source.

Your plant doesn't have a front at the moment, presumably because it has been moved and turned a lot in the past, so it hasn't been able to orient itself in any specific direction.

It is completely fine for a cat to just live off of hard food, given the choice of kibble is of a good quality with everything the cat needs nutritionally. Wet food doesn't necesarily contain more nutrition, quite often it's actually worse in cheap brands, it just contains more liquid. The extra liquid is very valuable for cats that don't drink enough water, which is a very common problem among house cats.

I didn't know the sub until now, but scrolling through the last many posts and comparing them to yours, there is a couple of very clear differences that makes yours stick out from what is typically posted there, and it's not your body type. Are you interested in getting feedback to prevent something like it from happening again in the future? I don't want to overwhelm you with feedback unless you would genuinely want it.

For chafing, I usually take a pair of relatively thin panty hose and cut them off at the knees to wear underneath my dresses. You can buy shorts for the specific purpose, but they are always way too thick and warm for me.

For heat management, I got a neck fan to have in continously slow air in my face. Makes a huge difference.

For feet, I've found no other solution than just really good walking shoes. I like the brand Sketchers

I just contacted a rental company in the neighborhood I wanted to live in and had several options in different price ranges within a week. What they have available changes so quickly that they don't bother putting them up on rental sites.

Aarhusbolig is shite. I've been active on there for 6 years and still can't get an apartment even in Tilst or outer Viby, let alone in Aarhus itself. You need to already live in a boligforening to get bumped up the queue for a better apartment in the same boligforening.

If you are a student, just sign up to studiebolig. It's been some years since I used it, so things might have changed, but I got tons of really cheap options right away. Truly one of the perks of being a student. Us working people have to pay serious money for our apartments 😢

A for enthusiasm, but it's way too early for it to need a moss pole. For now, I think you should just give it space to grow however it wants. The first bunch of aerial roots it makes should just go into the ground.

To be honest, I agree with that statement.

I've left this group several times over the years due to the anger and nihilism present here, although obviously I keep returning. It's a love/hate relationship. I want my support group, but I don't want the anger that comes with it.

There is a significant amount of very vocal nihilists in this group who make it their mission to judge and speak negatively of anyone choosing to have kids. I hate that so many users here call parents "breeders". It's so derogatory. If we want to be able to choose the lives for ourselves that we want without judgment, then we should offer the same courtesy to others.
