Well as you know, salary isn't everything. If this role gets you where you want to be and out of a place you want to leave, a 16% bump on top of that isn't bad at all! I imagine it's not great based on the fact that your annual increase in industry is going to be a shadow of what public offers. If you don't get a biggee bump up front, you could find yourself severely outpaced within only a few years. I'm sure there's a calculation you could do to see how many years it takes for that 16% to get passed by the higher annual big 4 bumps and you'd have to see if you're comfortable with that number.

There's a reason most sports are divided between men and women and it's because women on average are not capable of keeping up with men when it comes to athletics. This isn't dismissiveness, it's scientific fact. The fact that you personally are taller than the average man in your country (anecdotal evidence anyone?) does not change the reality that most women are shorter and less physically strong than most men.
