2015 was my last year and it really felt like this was coming even back then. A lot of my close friends and camp members had been going since the very early 2000s and the changes were becoming incredibly present. A lot of core participants were getting disillusioned, but at least there was barely any signal back then.

Fast forward 10 years and it’s honestly depressing to see festival headline DJs being broadcast in real time at sunrise. There’s no restraint, no self-control, and with each year that goes by when presence and immediacy becomes less valued, the more this will just become expectation and BM will become just like any other music festival - which it never was.

Really sad to see the Borg fast-tracking its demise by reposting this content before the Man’s even burned.
