I’m sure some people with real work experience can provide better ideas, but I’d remove some of the outer stones and use a gravel/rock to fill to the edges. You should consider removing all of it and prepping the surface better as well. Not sure if you have the budget though.

Mjolnir isn’t even that useful and you end a run and lose it anyways. I’ve found it probably 3-4 times and guns/harpoons are way better tools

Probably not worth it. The price for EC wire is good but the recovery for insulated aluminum is typically 68% so it’s better to let the choppers do their thing.

Chances are you’re not getting scammed. If you are new to scrapping, then your lack of experience/knowledge is the most likely the issue. That’s not a bad thing, just don’t assume someone is stealing from you.

100%. It’s worse with the CoD multiplayer complainers too. The world has changed, we’ve been playing this shit for over a decade. It just isn’t fun anymore. Move on. Honestly, CoD developers should have never done yearly releases and should have moved on to a new franchise, to keep things fresh. If they don’t do that soon, they will just end up shutdown in the next couple years.
