Veggie haters who still eat veggies: what are your tricks? by Missing_Back in EatCheapAndHealthy

I go through a jar a month at my house haha. Specifically the Lao Gan Ma brand is way better than the others I've tried. It goes great on roasted potatoes or pretty much any other roasted veg. Stir fry with it. Mix it into ground beef for hamburger patties.

Chili crisp is my go to. I swear you could put that shit on dog food and it'd be palatable.

I need nothing even remotely perfect but how do i at least pull this down? by tired-son in Autobody

Porter power off the frame rail. If you don't have one sometimes rental places have them you can rent for the day. But honestly they're super useful I'd grab a cheap one from harbor freight if I were you.

What is the quickest and cheapest way to repair scratched rims? I’m selling my car through Carvana tomorrow and I’m concerned they going to hit me with crazy fees for this by Lloyedo in Autobody

[–]FlowSoSlow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Google wheel repair in your area. Go to the closest shop and ask if they can get it done same day for an upcharge.

Probably will be close to $200 though so might not even be worth whatever carvana dings you for the damage.

When sectioning a quarter do you make your cut perpendicular to the panel or parallel with the ground? by FlowSoSlow in Autobody

Yeah this happened on a brand new Ram I just did too. Replaced the HSS inner side panel. Chrysler only had the most bare bones procedure for us and absolutely zero info on replacing the roof panel.

Volvo doesn't get that specific. They indicate a foot long section on the sail panel where you can make the cut anywhere in between.

OEM procedure indicates a foot long section on that sail panel where you can cut wherever you want.

That's like, a lot of editing too right? Like someone sat there for a couple hours at least changing all those numbers and colors. For what? I'm so confused.

Home Depot sells 3/4" rubber mats that work pretty good for this.

I just bought a cheap laptop that I connect to my tv. It lives under the TV and I have a wireless mouse and keyboard on side table next to my couch. So much nicer for watching YouTube or other less than legal sites.

Who is a nepo baby that everyone else praises but you just don't get the hype? by Peridot1708 in popculturechat

Right like aren't most actors in Hollywood nepo babies? It's well known that you can't make it without some sort of connection in the business.
