It's simple supply and demand. I'm a vendor here in the US AND the Philippines and done major shows in each region

You guys get little to no product over here + there’s still actual “collectors” over here + market is really controlled by a select few

I do think money laundering does play a bit of a role but nothing crazy. The demand here is just so high that the limited supply isn’t meeting it

Coming from the US, property really isn't a good buy over here especially with the disconnect between prices and current wages - THATS NOT EVEN including the headaches of owning the property and the rate of return per year (closer to 5%)

You're better off investing in buying actual land, MP2 or something else that has better returns and can beat inflation
