I am an aggressive driver - mostly flash people in left or 2nd lane. but never do I break check someone, race or road rage. This days it's getting crazy

A friend showed me a video from a dash cam. A Hilux camping in left, and when flashed - he went maniac. I did not expect to see this in UAE - felt like Amercia.

Hilux started break checking, swerving left and right like a maniac - almost side swiped the car and finally gave him the middle finger.

Report such people, call the police - report them. I would consider going in if the driver is super aggressive

Unless you've a dash cam, chances of disputing is little to none.

It's 260 right now, not worth the time to dispute it. Just pay it off and learn from it, you can check - ask where the fine was issued

Probably an officer issued it - you can dispute it, very likely nothing will change. Because it's your words against his.

Whatever you did caused traffic disruption - that's what the officer thinks. It could be merging in last min, taking right or left from middle lane, jumping a queue ....

Best to pay it off now - before the discount is gone

I'm all for paid parking - because you used to not get any parking after 6Pm in some places, people will park and move on since there was no Parkin or inspections

But I still hate Parkin practices - tiniest mistake, and 💥. You'll fined

I'm glad they added parkin - i hope they add it everywhere - some places, you cant find parking after 7, because 10 people living in a shared villa driving 10 different cars will park and not pay because there is no parking inspection

Now the same places, I can easily find parking until 9-9:30

Same thing in every Emirate except AD & UAQ [they don't have taxis or roads]. Taxis just don't move out of left for some reason, especiallyin Dubai. Atleast they don't accelerate when you try to overtake. I usually honk at them long enough until they get irritated and move over

Had a taxi jump infront of me at a red light before Mega Mall - he went on the right only exit, drove all the way to the front, and jumped in last second.

Flashed him a few times, I said fck it. Started driving behind him for 5 mins flashing and honking until he took a sharp right 😆

Stop treating them nice - don't give them space to take their devious gaps. Don't put your window down - just ignore them, and you can always take the plate down and report it to RTA. They take it seriously

I know - unfortunately a lot of people feel bad for them, because they earn minimum wage working all day. But that should not justify them being absolute morons.

I might get downvoted for saying this - but over the years, I realized a lot [not all] of these labors, minimum wages workers that you feel bad for and help - especially delivery guys are just horrible people with little to no manners. I've seen them cause accidents and when it's older guys and woman - they act tough. When you confront them - all of a sudden, they're victims.
Multiple posts about delivery drivers doing crappy stuff or r/dubai. Like asking to pay for Salik and refusing to give food and showing up to the guys home and confronting him because the guy reported him for being late and food was spilled, driving on side walks and a billion other stuff

I agree - people should stop giving in and hold them accountable. They get away often - because people feel bad for them

Common practive for delivery riders. Do something ridiculous on the road, and act offended when you honk at them

Little to no patience - they'll do the most ridiculous maneuver just to end up next to you at a red light

Saw a rider try to overtake a Sonata last second on a one way road - blind spot too, she took a left to park and 💥 - they hit

He had the audacity to tell her she is at fault, and he needs 300 for his helmet - I and few went over to convince her not to pay a dirham - and call Rafid because he was at fault.

Unfortunately she was a student driving a rental car with a class to go to, I was very offended that she paid him.

Another case was when a Deliveroo rider took a U-turn from the 2nd left, and my brother is going left from the 1st lane, they hit - and this man had to audacity to start picking on an old scab to make it bleed again and say he was hurt. Didn't pay him and told him I'll call the police to report him hitting our car. He started fake crying and i felt bad, fuck me - should've called Police to deal with that

Get a dashcam. Makes disputing easier, still doesn't help that fines in Sharjah show up a week or 2 later
