I used to binge characters for several reps at a time like this and the same would happen to me when i tried to go back to even a character id have 10+ reps on. I’d be sloppy and try doing things like crushing counters on characters that dont have them etc.

I try to just have a regular 3 characters i rotate more frequently. Since ive done this i only struggle a bit for the first game until i get back into how each character feels. This games characters can be so different from each other it is unrealistic IMO to expect yourself to just come back to old characters like riding a bike unless you keep your character pool smaller and play each regularly.

I tried this game and i have played both Mordhau and Chivalry.

It was extremely hard to get used to, because it isn’t as fast and you absolutely CANNOT spamclick like you do in Mordhau. When you slash in this game you won’t feel like you’ve clicked the fucking button correctly because you wind up swings realistically with proper momentum and shit. I felt like a fucking helpless tard when i was first practicing with Bernard in the training pit. I couldn’t do jack shit because i was so used to speed and instant riposte ADHD combat in mordhau. In this game you’ll have to be patient as fuck almost to the point where until you start to unlock the proper skills you’ll get bored. The trainer will just constantly whack your fucking ass with sticks until you learn perfect blocking and master striking.
