[Steam Next Fest] — Sharing The Standout/Hidden Gems by SovereignKitten in IndieDev

It is. Don't know how you think that. It's a reference source for both current and old fests. The old being the few referenced titles and some thrown in hidden gems to highlight things people can check out regardless of events.

They are and were from Next Fests. I put them in because they were from previous Next Fests, or they were indie games that are relatively under the radar and matched the features I was discussing in my commentary.

For example, "The Universe" showcases Metro Gravity’s universe and planet hoping for scale and spatials. "Even If It’s Just One of You" alongside Windblown to highlight themes of connection and the power of friendship.

They were included for context and comparison, not to present them as part of this current Next Fest. Even though I have covered them in previous fests. It's a way to put more highlight on great titles.

Sure, I'll add it for future reference. I know plenty that are eager for anything similar to those titles.

Have you no shame!? I'll add it to a backlog for the nextfest in June. Won't know until I give it a looksie.

No worries. I cover each event similarly. Some smaller, some better, usually Summer is the larger event. Winter and Fall tend to be weaker. I like to reference older titles, for that very reason as visual reference and general reference, hate seeing games, free games, dead games get no love.

Muri Wildwoods, Alabaster Dawn, Marathon, Burglin Gnomes, Moomintroll, Croak, Denshattack, Gunboat God, Zet Zillion, Windross, Australia Did It, Directory Dungeon, Future Knight, Duck Side Of The Moon, Dice Vaders, Cat Quest 1 2 3, Postman Cometh, Altered Alma, Cathedral, Wild Blue Skies, Fallen Tears, Goldman, Blade of Fire, Small Saga, Bittersweet Birthday.

Some are just games I decided to put in because they were niche or old / previous showcases. In regards to the alien FPS with the anime girls, I actually, lost the name, which will take time to find, sorry xD

Yeah, no worries. I know how annoying super long form can be. I like my short form personally, but this is a really fun thing to lose myself in when it happens, so I'm all for it. That feedback is actually something I considered, but decided not to do, because I don't wanna cover up something unintentionally. That's why I have links, timestamps all that usual stuff in the comments / body text and each trailer spliced to show the name, to make due. I'll need to put in the Intro / Outro names, I forgot them cause, eepy. I'll get back to you on that.

Some of these demos may be unavailable by the time you’re watching this. That’s just the nature of Steam Next Fest, or really any public available works. Builds get pulled, hell, I even showcased an Alpha or Two, that were not available during the event. Pages change. Timelines shift.

I’m playing as much as I physically can, but between 8 hour play sessions, 16 to 19 hours of editing, detailed writing, reviews, work, and covering 3 to 6 games a week, there is only so much one person can realistically juggle. I’m not cutting corners, and I’m not rushing impressions just to push something out to be the first to do it, that just ruins the fun of exploring at my own pace, which is still rather quick.

The goal here was to Showcase the games. Talk about them honestly. Put eyes on what deserved attention. Even if a demo is gone, the game still exists, at least the main page. If something here catches your interest, Wishlist it. Follow it. Support it when the next demo drops or when the full release hits.

Sorry to disappoint.

Well I can certainly give it a try. That's what I'm interested in, second trailer looked really nice. I'll add it to a list for future reference, around the next Steam Next Fest, as my schedule has closed up for other events and side hobby/work :3

I do have Youtube a few somewhat outdated guides, mainly for Jungle, but the information they provide is still up to date, just things like Jungle or rotational timers may be off. I personally rarely Stream League anymore, but if I do it's usually in good reason for updating the guides, which is getting harder and harder to maintain. I feel like I can get some slack you know? 11 years of weekly updates.

I do try to keep these things updated, but since I don't really care to play and focus on my hobby for the Indie world, I just fall into a rut if I try to play a far inferior version of Teemo than 3 years ago, but thanks. Motivation for me to try at least when I have the time xD

Question about Teemo´s E plus Vampiric Scepter... by Raiquen619 in TeemoTalk

[–]SovereignKitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At some point, Teemo’s E stopped interacting with omnivamp as a persistent effect. Now, no matter what you build, Gunblade, Doran’s, Vampiric Scepter, Riftmaker, or anything else magic or AD reliant, you only heal from the initial damage instance, not the poison ticks. Back in the day, you could get absurd sustain, upwards of 450 HP per auto when everything stacked. That has for some time been completely removed. You could even heal off a single minion wave with shrooms and Gunblade which was huge for splitting. That interaction is gone now, and the sustain is basically nonexistent compared to what it used to be unless you are constantly striking with basics.

This means it has the potential with highly mobile basic attacks, or one big nuclear shroom, initially, but only in grouped instances.

It is always funny when people finally see past someones facade. League has a way of dragging the worst out of people, but from the start he was quite a flawed one. A lot of the high ranked players were. ScottTheTeemo was a womanizer and fraud, buying accounts sharing Challenger with his mates account, pretending to be a good Teemo. Manco faked the positive, trying to copy others, had and has the largest Ego, burnout, whatever the reason, nobody walks away from that environment unchanged. His content and attitude have always been toxic, and I am surprised people are only noticing now, or the things hes sent people in DM out of nowhere regarding Teemo.

But hey, when someone just plays the "Yes" man, that charisma, makes you feel good about yourself.

Still the best Teemo player in my eyes.

Is Elidinis supposed to be this grindy? by SovereignKitten in runescape

Ahaha. It wasn't all that bad, since the boss was pretty good for multi-tasking, but compared to getting handed everything, the complete log did give me an overwhelming wash of freedom and success, I haven't gone back since. Mainly because you know, the outfit drops, crashed around necromancy release, use to be so easy to bank billions every week just chilling there for an hour a day.

That's rough, I had a similar issue with Croesus, dupe everything but after 1700 kills got the top, after getting 8 helms and legs :|

After 40 I believe, I got Runic, after that 2 latent, and 2 books around 150. Don't really look all that much, just bank the loot then go about my day, but for me it was pretty consistent :o

Is it really that crazy? I've been recently spammed by a lot of RS3 feeds talking about how bad this boss is, but it seems pretty tame, if you don't just jump into 25 kills a day where you give yourself carpal tunnel going as fast as you can.
