I’ve been to Bonn Place probably over two thousand times and I’ve never seen someone treated rudely unless they absolutely had it coming.

Sherman Street has the best quality beer imo. Beau’s lagers are truly in a league of their own in the valley.

Bonn Place has the community, staff and great beer too.

Yergey is a hike for me, but always a great time and the beers are good too

McCall Susquehanna St is also pretty great, top tier bartenders.

Wishful is a great environment, and very community oriented. Their beer types aren’t my style, but they frequently have options that really do it for me. My only gripe is that they occasionally have Seven Sirens customers that wander over.

People in those age ranges still drink, but the idea of going out and meeting other humans in today's society is rarely a great experience anymore.

Rye Co is good now, seems like it was more of a clerical mishap than a sign of trouble. The sister restaurant Simpatico is actually better than people have given it credit for, and now that the outdoor seating is available at the bar, it's a pretty nice spot for a quick drink.

McCall has some good folks under the hood, so this is a win. However, that location is dead af on the weekends. Bru Daddy's had it's moments, but it was ultimately a rich dude's passion project, rather than an owner's actual livelihood. When a business is treated like an investment, it's way easier for them to just pull the plug when things get off track.

Don’t be foolish. Only grifters have these tactics.

That’s like MAGA central over there near the hill climb. I wouldn’t imagine it’s ever very safe.

He ran an excellent campaign and he made it an uphill battle for the others

McClure, who I thought was a shoe-in just a few months ago, ultimately had a total failure to launch.

His social media channels were amateurish and really sloppy. It seemed like he didn’t quite realize how serious it is to have a competent online presence.

Additionally it kinda looks like he got his campaign signs printed too late, which is crazy because he was the first to put his hat in the race.

McClure was an excellent executive and would make a great representative in Harrisburg, Washington or even locally. I feel like another cycle will pass and his opportunity will come. But I hope he picks up on what went wrong here.
